Even in a strong culture, a lot can change in 12 months. That’s why our Chief People Officer, Rebecca Cantieri, recommends thinking beyond the annual engagement survey and building more opportunities to listen throughout the year. More intentional, continuous listening can help leaders stay closer to the employee experience, spot emerging needs, and keep building on what’s working. That might mean: 🌟 Short pulse surveys around moments that matter 🌟 Better 1:1s that help managers surface feedback 🌟 More opportunities to hear directly from employees 🌟 A clear plan to act on what you learn Because listening is only valuable if it leads somewhere. So we’re curious: What’s the biggest opportunity to improve employee listening at your organization? Vote in the poll 👇

If your employee listening strategy starts and ends with an annual survey, you’re probably hearing about problems too late. That’s one of the key takeaways from our Chief People Officer, Rebecca Cantieri, who’s seen firsthand how quickly employee sentiment can shift, and why annual surveys alone can miss important signals. A lot can change in 12 months, which means that by the time annual survey results make it to leadership, the feedback you needed may already be months old. Her advice: move from periodic measurement to more intentional, continuous listening. That could look like: ✅ Short pulse checks after meaningful changes ✅ Better 1:1s that help managers surface concerns early ✅ Stay interviews that uncover retention risks before someone decides to leave Because the goal isn’t just a better engagement score. It’s a better workplace, and showing employees that when they speak up, something happens next. What does a modern employee listening strategy actually look like? Our CPO shares her approach in the full blog—link in the comments.

It's amazing how much better every AI model has gotten over the past year. Just in the last 6 months, I can see a shift in how our teams use AI differently, more effectively, and more creatively. Our bottlenecks have shifted too. Now we aren’t struggling to come up with ideas, polished messaging, or presentations. The challenge now is knowing which ideas are worth acting on. That's where real human feedback comes in. AI is remarkable, but it can't tell you what your customers want, how your employees feel, or how your market will respond. To find those answers, it’s always best to just ask real people. Today, we're making that easier by bringing SurveyMonkey to ChatGPT. Wherever our customers choose to work, SurveyMonkey should be there too. Whether that's ChatGPT, Claude, or whatever comes next, gathering real feedback should feel like a natural part of the workflow, not something you have to step away to do. AI is becoming where work happens, and human perspectives should be part of those decisions. See more here: https://lnkd.in/gYMDawmR
