After minimal appearances in the series' last two entries, Yenner of Vengerberg became one of the main characters in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Undoubtedly one of the most powerful sorceresses to have ever lived, Yennefer spent years working for kings and emperors—using her magical prowess to gain theim political advantages.

Yennefer of Vengerberg

Geralt of Rivia first met Yennefer 20 years before the events of The Witcher 3. Their first adventure involved the "impossible" task of capturing a genie and Geralt's subsequent wish that led their fates to be intertwined forever.

A few years before the start of the game, Geralt and Yennefer once more restored their often-broken relationships, and the two lovers became adoptive parents to Ciri, the chosen child of the elves.

However, their reunion was cut short by the Wild Hunt—a group of mighty elven raiders—who had set their eyes on Ciri and her rare Elder Blood. With Geralt struggling with memory loss, and determined to prevent danger from befalling Ciri, Yennefer had left without the witcher to find her. But now she needs his help.
