The Witcher 3 Complete Edition Mods List
In addition to the various visual, performance, and technical improvements and some newly added content, The Witcher 3 Next-Gen Update for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC includes several community-made and community-inspired mods.
On consoles (PS5 and Xbox Series S|X), these mods are integrated into the Complete Edition by default. While these may add some new settings in the Options menu, there's no discrete menu option for Mods to turn them on or off.

The Witcher 3 Complete Edition - Mods List
The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project
Before the next-gen update, most Witcher 3 PC players could download The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project by HalkHogan to improve their game's graphics.
This mod reworked the models and textures of almost everything in the game to better quality but still preserved the original style. This mod upgrades these things to ultra quality, from NPCs and animals to rocks, water, and even vegetation.
HD Monsters Reworked
The HD Monsters Reworked by Denroth focuses on upgrading all monsters in the game, including those found in the expansions.
There are over 1000+ texture reworks in the HD Monsters Reworked, but the mod enhances the vanilla aspect of the game rather than altering them.
Immersive Real-time Cutscenes
The pre-rendered cutscenes in the vanilla Witcher 3 can take players out of the game's immersion. Thanks to teiji25, the Immersive Real-Time Cutscenes mod rendered several cutscenes in real-time and increased their quality and FPS.
Here is the list of real-time rendered cutscenes from this mod:
- Wild Orchid Horse Chase
- Battle of Kaer Morhen
- Ciri's Explosion
- Naglfar Ship Arrives at Skellige
- Ciri's Chat with Avallach on the Pier
- Ciri Meets the Wild Hunt
- Ciri Enters the White Frosts
Nitpicker's Patch
As the name suggests, the Nitpicker's Patch by chuckcash fixes minor visual issues, bugs, and glitches in the game—such as weapons and armor clipping errors, mesh corrections, typos, and so much more.
World Map Fixes
One of the most underrated mods, the World Map Fixes by Terg500, corrects missing POIs on the world map. This mod has added unmarked bodies of water, paths, bridges, farmlands, tents, and others to the map.
The mod also adjusts incorrect path sizes and removes non-existent POIs previously shown on the vanilla map.
Interested in more mods? Console players are limited to the included choices for the Complete Edition, but PC players can add plenty more. Find out more on the How to Use Mods guide.
