Walkthrough

This page contains IGN's walkthrough for the side quest The Sword, Famine, and Perfidy from The Witcher 3's first DLC expansion, Hearts of Stone.

This quest is a simple hidden treasure hunt. To start the quest, you’ll need to head to the coast north of Electors Square. On the map, you can spot a small structure and nearby will be a boat.

Go to the house on the map and clear out the Drowners that have taken over. Inside, open the cellar door and climb down. The body you are looking for can be found down there. Read the note on the corpse and take the key. With new instructions to search a sunken ship, head back to the surface and take that nearby boat.

Sail to the marker and dive in. Use your crossbow to kill two Drowners before searching for the treasure. Your Witcher Senses will make short work of the search. Loot the chest to complete the quest.
