Walkthrough

This page contains IGN's walkthrough for the side quest The Royal Air Force from The Witcher 3's first DLC expansion, Hearts of Stone.

For an interesting and humorous hidden treasure, you’ll want to make your way to the beginning of “The Royal Air Force,” which can be found northwest of Heddel.

Upon arriving, take out all the harpies you spot. If you fell into the central pit, simply climb out on the low ledge and make your way toward the marking on your mini map. Loot the body for a note and key. Reading the note reveals that the corpse tried to train an army of harpies for the army. Obviously, it did not go so well.

You need to climb to the top of the crumbling laboratory to find the chest. Jump into the pit, and use the lower ledge to get inside the building. Follow the path outside to a set of stairs. From there, jump and climb up the crumbling sets of stairs to reach the top. Loot the chest and safely hop down back to solid ground.
