This page contains IGN's walkthrough for the side quest The Cursed Chapel from The Witcher 3's first DLC expansion, Hearts of Stone.

The Cursed Chapel is a simple treasure hunt. You can find this treasure by going to the Upper Mill signpost. This is where the Runewright and Ofierian Salesman can be found. Head north from their shops, across the bridge to the chapel. The Hidden Treasure icon should appear when you get close enough.

Near the front door, on the left, is a preist's corpse. Inspect it to find a cyrpt key and a note. Read the note to learn a little about what happened and then use the key to unlock the front door.

Go inside and face the Cursed Mother. She is a beefed up wraith. Make heavy use of Yrden and Specter Oil to make quick work of her. If you get low on health or potions, use Quen as well to protect yourself. With the wraith gone, loot the nearby body to complete this quest.
