The Starting Witcher Gear is a single Witcher Gear Armor that is gained by default, and can also be upgraded. This Witcher 3 guide details everything you need to know about obtaining the Kaer Morhen Armor, as well as its stats and the required materials needed to craft the Warrior's Leather Jacket.

You will start the game with the Kaer Morhen gear equipped. Don't sell it, as you'll also be able to upgrade it using an already learned diagram for the Warrior's Leather Jacket.

If you do sell it, simply return to the merchant you sold it to, it should remain in their inventory.
