Races: Crow's Perch is a Side Quest in Velen located just outside of Crow's Perch once you get the flyer from the Notice Board.

There are a total of three racers you can go against, in a loop from the crossroads, through Blackbough, and back. You must stay on the path at all times or forfeit the match. You can also choose how much to bet for each of the three races - anywhere from 1 to 50 gold. You can stand to profit a lot from these races, so long as you win them.

You should at least have a regular Saddle before entering to give your horse that extra boost, since you will not be able to maintain a full gallop the entire time. Instead, manage your speed boosts properly, and try to stay in front of the other horse to make them go around you - losing time.

You will gain the following rewards for winning each race in turn:

  • 25 EXP, Racing Saddle
  • 25 EXP, Saddlebags
  • 25 EXP, Horse Blinders
