Magic Lamp

Magic Lamp is a simple side quest that further develops the relationship between Keira Metz and Geralt. Doing this side quest when prompted at the end of the main quest “Wandering in the Dark” helps build their relationship toward romance.

Follow Keira into another room in the elven ruins. Inside are four statues and a riddle in between them. Examine the riddle and have Kiera read it. The riddle is:

Four guardians, four flames, standing proud in line / The First to light his fire dared not march on the end / The Second, by the First, played a woeful lament / The Third kept close to his faithful beast / The Fourth marched not beside the First, yet like the Second, played a tune. / And thus they stood o’er their queen, who slept beneath flickering stars.

What the riddle translates to is to light the guard to the right of the archway, then to the left of the archway, then the far right, and finally the far left. When you light them in that order, the door opens up and Keira can grab the magic lamp. Leave the room and head out of the elvish ruins altogether.
