Gear Upgrades

During your adventures, Geralt is able to obtain Gear Upgrades that boosts your abilities and signs. Only certain armor and weapons can be upgraded, as noted by empty slots. Once applied, the upgrade can either be removed - destroying the upgrade, and making room for a new upgrade, or the item can be dismantled, and the upgrade returned.

Below is a list of upgrades that can be applied to both weapons and armor.

  Lesser Glyph of Aard               Adds 2%  Aard sign intensity

  Lesser Glyph of Axii                 Adds 2% Axii sign intensity

  Lesser Glyph of Igni                Adds 2% Igni sign intensity

  Lesser Glyph of Quen             Adds 2% Quen sign intensity'

  Lesser Glyph of Ydren            Adds 2% Ydren sign intensity

 Greater Glyph of Aard              Adds 10% Aard sign intensity.

 Greater Glyph of Axii                Adds 10% Axii sign intensity

 Greater Glyph of Igni                Adds 10% Igni sign intensity

 Greater Glyph of Quen             Adds 10% Quen sign intensity

 Greater Glyph of Yrdren           Adds 10% Ydren sign intensity  

 Lesser Chernobog                   Adds 3% chance to return damage

 Lesser Perun                           Adds 2% adrenaline point gain

 Lesser Striborg                        Adds 2% chance to stagger

 Lesser Dazhbog                      Adds 2% chance of burning

 Lesser Morana                        Adds 2% chance to poison

 Lesser Zoria                            Adds 2% chance to freeze

 Lesser Triglav                         Adds 2% chance to stun

 Lesser Svarog                        Adds 10 armor piercing

 Lesser Veles                          Adds 2% sign intensity

 Lesser Devanna                    Adds 2% chance to cause bleeding
