Building Guide
In between diving into the depths of Ball X Pit, you’ll be managing your base at the top of the pit, finding resources, and upgrading your skills. A lot of this information is presented fairly quickly as you unlock more blueprints. Keep track of what you've found and which buildings unlock with this guide.
Ball X Pit Building Basics
The first time you come out of a run, you’ll return to your base; here, you can place buildings and resource plots to earn resources, each of them having a positive effect on your run. Along with gold, you’ll have three resources that are required to craft the blueprints you find:
- Wood
- Stone
- Wheat
Each of these has a tile you can build in your base, which you can then "harvest" by striking it with your workers. Harvesting can be done once a round, where you’ll choose a direction to send off a line of your workers, each working like a makeshift ball as they bounce off buildings, walls, and certain tiles. As you get more resources, you can also upgrade the buildings you create to empower their effects.
If you need more space for your base, you spend gold to unlock more room for your buildings, though the cost of expansion increases after every one you purchase. Better save up if more space is what you're after! We'd recommend focusing more on building rather than expanding, though.
Ball X Pit Blueprint Explained
Each level has a certain number of blueprints that can be found. You can view how many are remaining at the bottom of each level in the level select. Each blueprint unlocks a building that you can add to your base, and these buildings come in three categories:
- Economy, for resource/production buildings.
- Warfare, for buildings that impact stats and abilities during your runs.
- Housing, which unlocks new playable characters.
Each level has its own specific blueprints, but the order they drop for you may be random.
All Buildings in Ball X Pit
To unlock a new building, you'll need its associated blueprint. Each of the game's eight levels has a certain number of Blueprints that they can drop randomly from enemies or bosses within it.
Ball X Pit Housing Buildings
Housing buildings start out as a way to unlock characters, but as you continue to level your characters each house unlocks a unique effect.
