One of my favourite office mice ever is just £63 from Amazon this Prime Day

A low price on a high spec office rodent.

The Logitech MX Master 3S was my trusty office mouse for literal years before I moved up to the MX Master 4 this time last year, although I still love the old models to pieces, and for good reason, too. a lot of it is down to the comfortable shell, zippy 8000 DPI sensor and immensely versatile wireless connectivity that means I can switch between Windows and macOS devices in a heartbeat, which makes it a fantastic mouse for multi-taskers and power users alike. It's just £64 from Amazon at the moment, marking out a low price this year for this Bluetooth only variant.

The MX Master 3S isn't much of a cosmetic upgrade on its predecessor, sticking with a tried-and-tested design with its comfortable frame and rubberised soft-touch coating. Its metal scroll wheel offers a precise line-by-line mode with notched, tactile feedback, as well as a smooth-gliding free-scrolling mode ideal for zooming through long documents or web pages. It's one of the more comfortable scroll wheels I've used, while the main mouse buttons are dampened, meaning they're an awful lot quieter than the ones on the older MX Master 3. That said, the main buttons aren't dampened to the point that they're mushy, and retain a solid amount of tactility. If you share a desk, an office or a sofa with other people, you'll appreciate the near-silent clicks.

Beyond the main wheel, there's a horizontal thumb wheel that's brilliant for scrolling sideways through spreadsheets and timelines, plus a gesture button and a pair of back and forward buttons within easy thumb reach. All of these can be remapped to suit your workflow, and I've found that a few minutes of setup pays off massively in day-to-day use.

Its sensor has also seen its sensitivity double to 8000 DPI. This is plenty for office duties, and makes the MX Master 3S an absolute joy to use. The Darkfield tracking also means it works reliably on practically any surface, including glass, so it's just as happy on a coffee shop table as on a desk mat. With this in mind, though, this isn't a mouse designed for more than office duties, given that sensitivity and higher weight. I have admittedly tried to game on it on a few occasions, but the combo of a higher weight and 125Hz Bluetooth polling wasn't getting me many kills in Counter-Strike 2 deathmatches.

That said, for the tasks it's designed for, it shines, especially when paired with the powerful Logi Options+ software suite. It connects via Bluetooth with this version specifically lacking the Logi Bolt receiver. Nonetheless, pairing is easy with the dedicated Easy-Switch button on the mouse's underside, and it works on up to 3 devices. Logitech's Flow feature even lets you move your cursor and copy files between computers as if they were one machine, which is a real time-saver if you're juggling a laptop and desktop.

The MX Master 3S also retains the same 70 days of battery life, giving you some solid endurance in between charges. When it does run dry, the USB-C port supports quick charging, with a one-minute top-up providing hours of use, so you're never left stranded mid-task.

The MX Master 3S is a mouse I can speak of especially highly, and if you're someone who wants to grab an excellent office mouse to use on all manner of devices, this is one of the best you can get, especially with this Amazon Prime Day discount in mind.
