Katharine Castle
Former Managing Editor
Katharine is Eurogamer's Former Managing Editor and primary spreadsheet keeper from 2024-2025. She headed up Eurogamer's reviews and feature sections, but could also be found occasionally writing guides and the odd news story here and there, too. Since 2012, she's been a specialist in PC games and PC hardware, writing for Computer Shopper, Expert Reviews, MCV and most recently Rock Paper Shotgun, where she was Editor-In-Chief from 2021 to 2024. She's always loved video games, and grew up on a steady diet of Nintendo and Final Fantasy fodder. She's also very partial to platformers and turn-based tactics games, and will never say no to a good Metroidvania.
