A display building tool for ambitious site builders, by the UI Suite team:
- Design system native: fully use your design system (components, style utilities, icons, themes/modes, CSS variables...) directly in Drupal.
- Unified: one builder replaces Layout Builder for entity view displays, Block Layout for pages, and the display building of Views. Existing Layout Builder displays are migrated.
- Modern: the Builder renders your front theme, with a responsive preview, undo history, presets, translations and real-time collaboration.
Project status
The 1.0.x branch is in beta, for Drupal 11.4+. Until 1.0.0, a beta can rename or remove an API, with a change record, and the update path is best effort.

Installation
Install as you would normally install a contributed Drupal module. See Installing Modules for further information.
Then enable the sub-module of each display you build: entity view (display_builder_entity_view), page layout (display_builder_page_layout) and Views (display_builder_views).
UI Patterns patches
Display Builder requires UI Patterns 2.0.23 exactly, and ships two patches for it, until they land in a UI Patterns release: #3630451 and #3630456.
Both make the Builder faster. Display Builder works without them.
Composer applies them with composer-patches. With 2.x, run composer patches-relock then composer patches-repatch after requiring or updating Display Builder.
With 1.x, set "enable-patching": true under extra.
