Hey everyone,
                    Have you ever wanted to get involved with the running of well if you have then we have one or two admin positions open. We need more people to accept submissions to stop them expiring due to the fact that the current admins don't have as much time as they would like to dedicate to the club.
We're hoping that some of you will be interested helping out, if you are then please send us a note. Preferably you will have some time to spend submitting work, as it seems we have in the past, had admins who then haven't had any time to dedicate to the group.

So if you are interested send us a note and we will get back to you.

Hey there members,

So here are some upcoming contests if you feel like taking part:

are holding a contest with the theme: Trees in the City.

Theme: The theme for this contest is "Trees in the City"

What should my entry be? Your entry must be a tree with heavy urban surroundings. Buildings, cars, people and the like. We will not accept entries that have small amounts of human structures such as a tree with a bench, or trees with a few light posts. Your tree must be obviously in the heart of a city or town.

What Type of Art? As with all our contests, all art mediums are accepted. Photography, digital, crafts & literature as long as it is theme fitting

Dates:
The contest will end February 4th

New or old art? It can be either new art or old art.

How many Entries can I submit? A member can submit up to 2 deviations.

We already have many prizes including 600  & lots of features!

Also:
is holding a contest with the theme People in the Fog.

Theme: The theme for this contest is "People of the Fog".

What should my entry be? Your entry must include two elements. People and of course Fog.

What Type of Art? As with all our contests, all art mediums are accepted. Photography, digital, as long as it is theme fitting

The contest will end February 28th 2013

How many Entries can I submit? A member can submit up to 2 deviations.

Hi everyone,
                  Just a quick update to tell you that we have added some new folders to the club which are:
Traditional scapes
For submissions of landscapes, skyscapes, waterscapes and cityscapes that have been produced with traditional media such as painting, drawing or other such traditional methods. As with the photography folders the traditional scapes will only be accepted if they do in fact showcase a full scape. Also it has to be a natural scape to be included, we will not be excepting any fantasy themed scapes sorry.

Digital Scapes
For submissions of landscapes, sky scapes, waterscapes and cityscapes that have been created with a digital medium. Again these will only be accepted if the image shows a full scape and they too must focus on natural scapes, sorry but we are not accepting fantasy scapes to the club.

Misc Scapes
Occasionally we get submissions that show a scape but the focus will be on one building in a landscape rather than a cityscape. This leaves us undecided as to which category the work should be submitted to. Now we have decided to get around this problem by creating a misc scape folder. This will be a predominantly photography folder.

Hopefully these new folders will get some use and will mean we can accept even more submissions than before.

We'd also like to welcome your new admin David-Mason who has had some good ideas for the club which we hope to implement. Also it would be great at some point if we could get the club supergroup status once more
