My Bio

I don’t really consider myself an artist in the traditional sense — I’m just a guy who enjoys experimenting with AI-generated art. I love pushing the boundaries and seeing how far I can stretch the tech to bring wild and creative ideas to life. It’s a hobby, a curiosity, and a way to explore new forms of visual storytelling. Always learning, always tinkering.

Thanks for the hype! :happybounce:

Hey everyone, quick update about Black Tide.

I ended up taking down the original version I uploaded because when I watched it back on DeviantArt, the video looked way too choppy and unstable compared with the original file.

To get under DeviantArt’s file-size limit, I had originally used a video converter to reduce the resolution. Unfortunately, it looks like that process also affected the smoothness and frame rate more than I expected.

For this new upload, I went back to the original file and tried using a compressor instead of converting it to a lower-resolution version. Hopefully this version is much more stable and closer to how the movie is supposed to look.

Sorry for the inconvenience to anyone who already watched the first upload. DeviantArt’s file-size limit can make uploading longer videos a bit of a headache. 😅

If you watch the new version, please let me know how it plays for you — especially whether the choppiness is gone and the video feels smoother. That feedback would genuinely help me work out the best way to upload future movies. 🎬🖤

A extended video in which women on a construction project get transformed by the Change of Life virus into a pack of werewolves.

Thanks for the suggestion! 😁 I’m probably not the best person for a werewolf-focused project though — you’d be better off talking to Werecurse or Wolfman Jack, since that’s much more their thing.

I’m also not taking commissions at the moment, but I appreciate you thinking of me and throwing the idea my way. Cheers! 👍

😂 Well… that Rumble experiment lasted about five minutes.

I uploaded two videos to Rumble thinking it might be a better home for my longer AI movies…

…and they got taken down almost immediately. 💀

So yeah, that experiment went brilliantly.

I was hoping for a place where I could upload my films without having to butcher the resolution, frame rate, or split everything into multiple parts. Instead I basically got:

Upload → wait → removed → confused screaming 😂

On top of that, I very quickly realised that the overall political vibe of the platform really isn’t for me either. I don’t agree with a lot of the hard-right content and rhetoric that seems comfortable there, so I’m not exactly devastated to be moving on.

So my completely scientific conclusion after uploading two videos is:

Rumble: probably not the new home of the Change of Life Virus. 🧬😂

Back to the drawing board.

At this rate I’m going to need to build my own cursed video-hosting website just so my monster women can exist in peace. 🕷️🐍🐗🖤

Thank you so much to everyone who has financially supported my work — I genuinely appreciate it. 🖤🎬

For me, this has never really been about the money. It’s a hobby and a labour of love, and every bit of support simply helps me keep experimenting and creating more strange AI films.

One frustration with DeviantArt is that I’ve often had to lower the resolution/frame rate and split longer movies into multiple parts. So I’m experimenting with Rumble to see if it works better as a home for the full-quality versions.

Thanks again for all the support. 🧬🖤

🧬 A Difficult Update: I’m Stepping Away From AI Video

Hey everyone,

First of all, I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has watched, commented on, favourited, shared, or supported my work—especially everyone who purchased access to my Department of Weird Mutations Premium Gallery. 🖤

When I started making AI videos, this was supposed to be a hobby.

I loved experimenting with transformations, monster women, horror-comedy, reference sheets, and eventually entire movies inside my Change of Life Virus universe.

Somewhere along the way, though, I realised the hobby had started becoming unhealthy.

Recently I actually sat down, looked properly through my bank account and transaction history, and was genuinely shocked by how much money I had been spending on AI-video services.

One of the biggest problems was that I had enabled auto-recharge.

That removed practically all of the friction from spending.

A generation would fail, my credits would run low, and instead of having to stop and consciously decide whether buying more was worthwhile, the account could simply recharge and I could keep generating.

Another attempt.

Another failure.

Another continuation.

Another batch of credits.

When every individual transaction feels relatively small, it becomes incredibly easy to lose sight of what all those purchases add up to over months.

Seeing the overall spending pattern was a wake-up call.

So I have now removed my payment method from Segmind and stopped the automatic recharge cycle.

But money is only part of why I’m stepping away.

I’ve also realised how much of my time these projects have been consuming.

There were days when I should have gone to the gym and didn’t.

There were concerts and social gatherings I could have attended, but instead I stayed home working on another scene.

I haven’t been spending as much time outdoors.

Even when I wasn’t generating something, I was often thinking about reference sheets, editing, prompts, continuity or what scene I wanted to make next.

I genuinely love making these videos. Getting that one generation where everything finally works gives you an enormous dopamine hit.

And that is precisely why I need to recognise when enough is enough.

A hobby should be something that adds enjoyment to your life.

It shouldn’t gradually start replacing everything else in it.

So I’ve made the difficult decision to stop making AI videos cold turkey.

🎬 Unfortunately, that also means the AI movie I was currently working on will remain unfinished.

That is probably the hardest part.

There’s always a voice saying:

“Just finish this movie first.”

But finishing it means another scene.

Then another generation.

Then fixing the failed generation.

Then another batch of credits.

Then suddenly you’re back in exactly the same cycle you were trying to leave.

At some point you have to actually stop.

I’m not deleting the work I’ve already made.

The videos, experiments, reference sheets and movies I’ve created are still things I’m proud of.

I learned an enormous amount about AI filmmaking, video editing, photo manipulation, inpainting, character consistency, storytelling and building longer scenes from short generations.

And one of the biggest surprises was discovering that people actually wanted to watch this stuff.

The success of the Department of Weird Mutations genuinely caught me off guard.

I originally made these strange videos because they were things I personally wanted to see.

Then somehow other people started enjoying them too—and even paying to support them.

That means a lot to me. ❤️

For now, though, I need to put more of my time and attention back into ordinary life:

💪 getting consistent with the gym again

🌳 spending more time outside

🎸 actually going to concerts and social events

🏠 focusing on my real-world financial responsibilities

👥 spending more time around actual people

😂 and perhaps spending slightly less time obsessing over imaginary monster women

I don’t regret creating the Change of Life Virus universe.

I don’t regret all the bizarre experiments.

And I certainly don’t regret discovering that there is apparently an audience for shark-mermaids, nagas, driders, harpies, centaurs, pig-women and every other ridiculous creature I decided needed its own story.

But I do need to recognise that the amount of time and money I was putting into it had stopped being reasonable for a hobby.

Sometimes self-preservation means knowing when to walk away from something you really enjoy.

So for now, I’m landing the plane.

Thank you sincerely to everyone who supported this strange experiment and followed along while it grew completely out of control. 🧬🎬🖤

And one lesson I’m definitely taking away from this:

Be very careful with auto-recharge.

When there’s no pause between running out of credits and spending more money, it becomes frighteningly easy to stop noticing how much you’re actually spending.

Thank you for watching.
