I try to write bios for DA, like this one, that aren't clunky or full of typos, and that make grammatical sense. Sometimes I even succeed, but let's face it, not very often,

Before I dive into it, I want to make it really clear that I'm not some holier than thou, morality police, anti-porn crusader or anything remotely like that. So, if after reading you want to come at me, don't come at me for that😉
Ok, here's the problem. I just had to block somebody who had faved like 100 of my pieces. Why? When I went to go check out their Favorites section, my work was sitting next to porn. This isn't the first time this has happened.
I understand that for a lot of people this is a porn site, and like I indicated above, I honestly don't care, that's fine with me. I'm all about the "you do you".
I'm over here, "me doing me" (bad choice of words in a post about porn). My work isn't porn. My account isn't about porn. If I wanted my work to be associated with porn, I'd just make a porn account. But that's not how I choose to engage with DA. Others can't decide unilaterally to merge my account with their porn account. That's something for me to decide about my
Let's begin at maximum zoom-out and then work our way all the way down.
Right. So, there's this thing we call The Universe. Yes, it's pretty big, everyone knows that much. What most people don't know, however, is that it's soooo big, we can't see it in it's entirety from end to end. What we refer to as 'the' universe is only the fraction of it that our senses, instruments and scribblings (sometimes called 'mathematics') have been able to reveal, or infer. As mind-blowingly immense as that fraction is, there's more, much, much more than we'll ever be able to see. In fact, it might even be infinite, for all anyone, no matter how many pens in his pocket protector, truly knows.
Within that observable volume of... let's call it 'space', there are these very large assemblages of stars called galaxies. Estimates of how many galaxies vary, but if you said a couple hundred billion, you probably wouldn't be too wrong. As far as beyond the observable volume goes, well, grab a crayon and a
Being human is a skill, but even more, it's a talent. A human existence is like the playing of a musical instrument. Some of us are very, very good at it, some of us are very, very bad at it, and most of us can manage to hammer out a passing rendition of Chopsticks on it's keys, after much study and concentration.
Being a virtuoso human isn't about numbers in a bank balance, private jets, or fancy homes. You can encounter them anywhere, at any level within our invented, completely arbitrary and sometimes absurd social constructs.
It's hard to pin down exactly what makes someone a virtuoso, but when you find yourself in the presence of one, it's warming, as if a cloud that you hadn't even noticed has passed, and now, for a moment, you're in sunlight.
