Lisa is dead...

3 min read
Hello dear friends

Lisa is dead
I am psychologically broken down and currently being treated.
As soon as I make it emotional, I write a journal about Lisa's tragic fate and why I can not handle it.
All I can say now is that I have lost my courage.
Because only three years ago I lost Lara.

I ask for your understanding, but I still need time to endure this, for me very severe stroke of fate, to process him and to get away.

You should know, everyone in my family died when I was a teenager, and I did not have an easy childhood for a variety of reasons.
Life sometimes does not mean it well with one.

my dogs ... and Lisa, because she was always looking for help with me and she was so affectionate, meant so much to me ...

she was my life light that died with her dead ...

back remains an emptiness that until now irreparably destroyed my soul ...

I would like to sincerely thank all who helped me.

I will contact you as soon as I find the strength.

Help for my dog Lisa

Update *** News 29.04. below added

Hello my dears!

Perhaps you have noticed that I have not been very active in the past month on DA.
The reason is the illness of my dog Lisa

I've been thinking for a long time about writing this journal!
But my desperation is now greater than the embarrassing feeling of asking for help!

Lisa, my dog, is now 3 years old. She has been infected with a serious illness due to a tick bite.
She has anaplasmosis! A shock!!!
The first episode of the disease was a retinal detachment in both eyes.
She was blind for several days and could not handle it.

Then the veterinarians succeeded in using all medical possibilities
that the retina has partially re-established.

Lisa could see again. Not as much as before - but she saw something!

That stayed like that for about 3 months!
Then came the next anaplasmosis disease episode.

She had a glaucoma on her right eye.
The eye pressure was now 63 !!!
Furthermore the left eye became infected!

The right eye is now beyond saving. The eye is blind.
If the high eye pressure can not be lowered she will lose it.

By all means we try now to save the left eye.
But now I am financially exhausted!
I have already sold what has been sold.

The veterinary costs are now over 4,300 euros and an end is not foreseeable!

Many medications are needed to treat the inflammation and possibly preserve the residual vision.
She gets cortisone, antibiotics, antihypertensive tablets,
4 different eye drops, depot injections into the conjunctiva of the eye
and medicine as well as special food to get the liver and lower the bad levels.

The danger of total blindness is extremely high!
With such a young dog of this breed that is fatal!
There is also the danger that the liver fails.
I additionally give homeopathic preparations.

Lisa is just 3 years old and for her dog breed typical usually very active!
She has a super friendly personality and is just nice to all people and animals!

Before this illness she was very happy! A real sunshine!
And now ...
You can feel that she has pain because of the high pressure in her eyes and the inflammations.
I give up against the pain 3x 750 mg Novalgin daily.

My only wish is ...

"Please, let at least keep your left eye !!!
If you can not see so much with it, but the remaining 30% are better than nothing!

To me! I am sick myself. For years I live with severe depression, PTPS and other illnesses that make life difficult. I am getting a small pension because of my illnesses. With that, I can just make a living.

I thought with the surgery insurance is the little Lisa hedged. That was wrong! I have always saved a small amount for incidental vet costs. But it has long been used up.

Of course, there are people who say I'm crazy! To spend so much money for a dog.
Falling asleep would be better. I also heard comments like "For this you get 5 new dogs"

Such a nonsense! At times she feels better, too. Then she wants to cuddle. And she also has appetite.

As long as there is hope, I do not want to give up. I would like to help her!

And so I decided to set some pictures as download!

If someone wants to help, I would be glad if you download one of these pictures.
I will use every cent for Lisa's veterinary treatment.

Because Lisa is important to me!

It would be a great help!
Of course there is no guarantee that everything will be alright!
And even if! The drugs are necessary in the long run.
The doctors already said that!
But I do not give up anyone I love from the bottom of my heart!

I hope you understand my despair!
I'm really embarrassed to ask for something!
But I do not know how to continue!

I thank everyone who reads this ...
... and if you do not have the opportunity to help,

I would be very grateful if you share this journal with others.

I also uploaded a video to show what it looks like at the moment.
Please look at this only if you think you can bear it !!!
I find it hard to see it every day and live with the fear of losing she.

*** I apologize for hanging so long after my correspondence. But I crashed. The last weeks were very hard and now they are demanding their tribute. My depression overwhelmed me. I'm fighting because I have to be strong for Lisa!
Nevertheless, I would like to say thank you for your great help! I will contact everyone personally. Please, everyone has donated! Send me a note!

Lovely greetings from me

Andrea

* If the text should not be correct. I used an online translator.
Because I do not have the concentration! My thoughts are only with Lisa.

Hilfe für meinen Hund Lisa

Hallo Ihr Lieben!

Dann will sie kuscheln.

Andrea

Excuse me that I have not reported as long as!
I needed all my strength for Lisa!
And it was very bad for me!
I hope you could forgive me!

BUT we fight on!

And there is good news!

Lisa's liver values are back in the very good range!
So finally the long deferred surgery on her blind eye, on which a very high eye pressure of over 40, could be removed. Unfortunately, this was necessary to relieve her of the pain she had previously been on medication for, which unfortunately is not good for the organism either.

I gave her a high dose of milk thistle (silymarin) every day against the poor blood levels of the liver.
The liver value improved extremely!
Even my vet was surprised!

Nevertheless, we continue to fight to get their eyesight on the other eye. The anaplasmosis is far from being defeated.

But the little mouse is better!
She wants to play, she wants to go for a walk or let's say she wants to run across the meadows and fields again.

Caution is still required.

We fight on as long as there is hope!
