We took over the management of Slade Green Library from 13th October 2014 when it moved to the new site in the Community Centre in Chrome Road.

We are a little difficult to find at the moment as we are down a side track off Slade Green Road behind the old Howbury Centre. As the area is developed we will be on a propoer access road into the new housing area. we are between the roundabout and Elm Road (and on the opposite side).
We are pleased that we have been able to increase the opening hours.

The Community Centre and Library building is owned by Bexley Council and operated by Greener Bexley (Library) and Eco Communities (Community Centre).
The Council support us at Slade Green by seconding Library Staff to us and providing us with some new books.

You can support us by using the Library and joining as a Library Friend. We also need volunteers to support our Librarians. We are looking for donations of money, books, CDs and DVDs. If material donated to the Library is not suitable for our use for any reason we will sell it for the benefit of the Library or pass it on to another charity.
