Square Enix Presents has released one of its famous E3 teaser videos.

The teaser suggests Square Enix has at least six surprises for its June 16 press conference.

Here are the takeaways:

  • “Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward. Go hands on with the upcoming expansion. Flying mounts are here!”
  • “Just Cause 3. The highly anticipated title will parachute in new info for everyone.”
  • “Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be here. You might’ve asked for this. Tune in to find out all about this action RPG during the show.”
  • “We’ll have programs focusing on [BLEEPED OUT]. What? That was weird. Moving on.”
  • “Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below. We’ll be discussing all the high points about this new entry in the beloved series.”
  • “We’ll bring the world premiere of [BLEEPED OUT]. Ohh, I get it. It’s so secret I can’t talk about it.”
  • “Well what about [BLEEPED OUT]? Ooooo…K.”
  • “But I’m sure people will want to hear about [BLEEPED OUT]. Keeping ’em in suspense, huh?”
  • “I bet people’s heads will explode when they hear about [BLEEPED OUT]. Alright, alright. Keep calm there, bleepers.”

    Star Ocean 5 will be one of them. This is something that’s both obvious and that I know for a fact.

    I think we’ll probably get a Kingdom Hearts III teaser to tide us over until the Kingdom Hearts Fan event at D23 Expo Japan in October.

    I think we’ll also get a Kingdom Hearts Ultimate Collection on PS4, and a Final Fantasy XII HD remaster.

    That’s four. I don’t think we’ll see Dissidia there. That’s an arcade title for now. The PS4 version will come later.

    I wanna say Dragon Quest XI will be announced there, just because that’s never happened and it’d be cool if it did.

    Oh and obviously we’re gonna get a Final Fantasy VII remake announcement.

    Edit: Err, Hitman. Forgot about that. That’ll definitely be one of them.

      Hitman is another, and then Human head studios is partnering with Shinra Streaming for a new game.

      I think those are the surprises, was kinda hoping for a new Square Enix JRPG but eh,

          Just a couple more days till E3, I swear for me all I want from this years E3 News is KH3 related if SE does that then they definitely win in my book. Granted other things will get announced/shown off but Kh3 has a big top spot for what I am hoping for. ^_^

          though FFXV is skipping E3 for Gamescom later this year which apparently thats going to be the full promotional stuff for FFXV which they could easily drop their release date/window there, so i wouldn’t think it would be too soon for a release window from KH3 ….. Fingers crossed :P lol only time will tell.

          Hell if both got release windows I think a lot of FF and KH fans alike would be overjoyed waiting so many years.

        Would’ve actually preferred a remake of Xenogears with a proper handling of the second disk with more gameplay than narration.
        The ending of Xenogears is also already a good closing for it to have another sequel but that’s just my opinion.

      God, I was there. You could feel the oxygen leave the room before a few “boos” were tossed out at poor Shinji. I watched the stream after and they totally dulled the audience reaction. It was a cruel thing for them to do.

        When I saw it on stream I honestly didn’t think it was a big deal…but maybe it’s because I really don’t care for any kind of FF7 remake. I enjoyed the game but I prefer they spend time making new games (I’ll make an exception for FFXII HD though).

    – A NEW proper ‘Dragon Quest’ game
    – A NEW Valkyrie Profile… ‘Hrist’?
    – A NEW ‘Chrono’ game
    – Maybe a little bit info on KH3… Maybe about what Worlds to expect? I mean, it will maintain people talking for a LONG time, tbh.
    – Final Fantasy XII HD REMASTER MUST BE THERE for PS3/Vita and PS4
    – Star Ocean 3 HD REMASTER?! This one will be a surprise, a well receive one.
    – Just imagine a Remake of Chrono Cross with graphics like the ones in Dragon Quest Heroes, I mean, that will SET UP the E3

    Do they think by not naming what will be there we’ll all sit glued to a tv or computer screen just on the off chance that something we want will show? People could just have sites tied to their email and wait for an email about a game they like and never watch e3. I dont like stuff like this. Either flat out say What you have to offer or stop wasting my time.

          Chaos Ring III and Rise of Mana came out for the Vita in japan and they released X/X-2 HD worldwide that’s some support…but I don’t expect much but maybe just maybe they will make a final fantasy XII HD and port it to vita too.

    Then you gotta guess what is coming from the Eidos side of things – here’s hoping for a Sleeping Dogs 2. Perhaps set in Bangkok or something like that to follow up Hong Kong? The exotic setting was one of the best parts about that amazing game – well, compared to the “off brand American cities” in GTA, Saints Row and every other open world game.

    I look forward to seeing what else they have. I do hope they announce some western and console ports of some arcade games at the show. PS4, Gunslinger Stratos; that’d make me happy.

    I can’t help but be hyped about this. Square Enix does some weird business sometimes (All the bravest, the ps4 version of final fantasy VII, Tomb raider timed exclusive for xbox one) but their studios and most 3rd party they are associate with still make a ton of good games. Even without the 6 secret titles I already love their line up.

    The frog theme, even if it doesn’t mean anything, is a nice touch too. At least it shows they remember the game exist.

    I just want to cast all cynicism aside and say that I hope Square Enix bring it with their conference. They have an uncanny knack of inadvertently trolling an entire audience, as PSX so harshly demonstrated, but I’m rooting for them here, because I want them to succeed and win over our hearts. Even just Sleeping Dogs 2 and nothing else would have me singing their praises.
