WORCESTER - Denis Leary wasted no time dropping the gloves.
"They're billing this game as the '69-70 Bruins vs. the Hollywood celebrities," said the Worcester-bred comic/actor, "but I like to call it the young guys vs. the old guys."
Bruins legend Bobby Orr later got his shot in when he made a veiled reference to some of Leary's box office flops.
The actor and the hockey legend, along with other dignitaries, got together to kick off the ticket sales for the "Celebrity Hat Trick" hockey game to benefit the Leary Firefighters Foundation.
