It is with sadness that I have to report the death of Don Thompson.Don was an Olympic Gold medalist in the 50km walk at the Rome games which was only one of his many acheivements in his long sporting career. We were privileged to have Don as a member of our club for many years.A more detailed tribute to Don will appear on the site shortly.Tina

ADVICE ON TRAINING

Updated: 24-Sep-2006 16:29

I have filled the place for training advice and I thank you for the interest shown. Unfortunately at this stage I can't commit to more than one athlete. If however anyone wants a general analysis I would be pleased to offer suggestions. (N.B. Not qualified as coach.) I wish everyone well with their winter campaign be it to get fitter or smash pbs. Be positive and go for it! JCr.
