Stuart Lawrence shared thisFantastic milestone for the team working on #AgileFilmmaking.Stuart Lawrence shared thisOur team has been hard at work, and we can't wait to share the news with you! Introducing DeepEditor Beta — launching today! ✂ Editors have traditionally had to make the best film possible with the material they received from the shoot. If dialogue needed to be changed, it often meant a reshoot or compromises in post-production. With DeepEditor, our AI-driven editing tool, we are redefining what’s possible in post-production and helping budgets go further. 🚀 DeepEditor allows filmmakers to update dialogue and refine performances to tell the best version of their story. Editors can now select the perfect performance from the original shoot without capturing countless takes from every angle. This marks a major leap in refinement and control, dramatically transforming what’s achievable in post-production and enabling tight film budgets to stretch further than ever before. ✅ Most importantly, DeepEditor is industry-leading ethical AI. Supported by Flawless' Artistic Rights Treasury (A.R.T.), which gives performers the ability to review and consent to every DeepEdit, DeepEditor upholds the ethical standard backed by SAG-AFTRA. We’re empowering creators to realize their vision and create without compromise. Apply for the Beta at https://lnkd.in/g-63wt7c and have a look at what it can do below ⬇ #DeepEditor #AgileFilmmaking #PostProduction #AI

Stuart Lawrence shared thisWe experienced a deluge of coverage and interest this week, as the talented team at Flawless continue to deliver ground-breaking #generativeAI for filmmakers.Stuart Lawrence shared thisThis just blew my mind! 👀 Generative AI is revolutionising the film and video industry. 📽 Today’s trending topic on Reddit is about the neural network lab Flawless. Through a process CEO Scott Mann calls "#vubbing", TrueSync uses generative AI to match an actor's mouth movements with dubbed dialogue, making it as genuine as the original. This is just the beginning of what #generativeAI can do in the film industry, creating hyper-realistic, synthetic videos in minutes. What are your thoughts?

Stuart Lawrence liked thisStuart Lawrence liked thisAI PM interviews are brutal now. Save these questions before your next AI interview: (𝘙𝘦𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘵 + 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘭𝘴𝘦 ♻️) You can’t "CIRCLES" your way through RAG, evals, hallucinations, agents, latency, and model trade-offs. 1. AI Product Sense How would you design an AI assistant for a specific workflow? How would you improve ChatGPT, Perplexity, Cursor, or Notion AI? How would you design an AI feature where the output may be wrong? 2. Technical AI Fluency Explain RAG to a non-technical stakeholder. When would you use RAG vs. fine-tuning? How would you choose between GPT, Claude, Gemini, or open-source models? 3. Evals + Metrics How would you evaluate whether an AI feature is working? How would you build an eval set before launch? How would you measure hallucination rate? 4. RAG + Context Engineering How would you design a RAG system for enterprise knowledge search? How would you know if retrieval is failing? What would you do if the model gives the wrong answer despite retrieving the right document? 5. Agentic Workflows How would you design an AI agent for customer support? What tools should an AI agent access? How would you prevent unsafe actions? 6. Failure Modes + Guardrails What would you do if the AI gives a confident but wrong answer? How would you design fallback paths? How would you decide whether an AI product is safe enough to launch? 7. Prototyping / Builder Mindset Tell me about an AI prototype you built. How would you prototype an AI feature in one week? What would you hand off to engineering after validating it? 8. Cost, Latency, Quality, Risk How would you balance accuracy vs. latency? How would you reduce LLM cost without hurting UX? When would you use a smaller model? 9. AI Strategy + GTM What AI product would you build for this company? How would you price an AI feature? How would you create a moat around an AI product? 10. Behavioral / AI Curiosity Why do you want to work on AI products? What AI tools do you use every week - show me? Tell me about a time an AI product you worked on failed. Now here’s the uncomfortable truth: THERE IS NO MAGIC FRAMEWORK FOR ANSWERING THESE. You can memorize STAR. You can memorize CIRCLES. You can memorize “define the user, identify the problem, prioritize solutions.” But none of that saves you when the interviewer asks: “How would you debug a RAG system?” “How would you evaluate hallucination rate?” “How would you test an AI agent before giving it access to customer data?” The only way to answer them well is to have actually learned the core AI PM skills! If you want to master all frontier AI skills so you can ace AI interviews at any company and become AI-native PM & operator, then our #1 AI PM Certification is for you. He was unaware that Tunis is low cost location with high quality talent and that is within 2.5 hours of Paris, London, Berlin and Amsterdam. Some of the strongest outcomes we’re seeing right now are coming from markets that aren’t saturated, aren’t overhyped and haven’t been properly explored Tunis is just one of many. When customers are looking to save costs we help them find the optimal location. PS - If you’ve been thinking about saving costs on talent then send me a DM.

Stuart Lawrence liked thisStuart Lawrence liked thisWe obsess over intelligence. The real risk is behaviour. Most AI conversations still follow the same storyline: Model gets smarter. Outputs get better. Jobs disappear. That mental model is already outdated. And it breaks once you step into agentic AI. Models are just one aspect. And honestly, they’re becoming the least differentiating part of the stack. We’ve moved past tools that answer questions. We’re building systems that plan, act, remember, recover, and improve over time. That changes everything. Because once AI becomes operational, the real work begins. ML foundations turn data into signals. Deep learning finds patterns at scale. GenAI creates text, images, audio, video. AI agents execute. Agentic AI coordinates intent at scale. And suddenly we’re no longer “using AI”. We’re managing behaviour. Memory. Feedback. Cost. Risk. Control. Failure modes. None of that is glamorous. But that is where value and trust are actually created. The question to start asking is: “What happens when this fails, forgets, or confidently does the wrong thing?” That answer will decide whether AI becomes leverage or liability. ♻️ Repost to help someone see the bigger picture. 🔔 Follow Clare Kitching for insights on unlocking value with data & AI. 🍭 Get more from me with my free newsletter here: https://lnkd.in/ghBtk6jR Thanks to my friend Luís Rodrigues for the visual inspiration, give him a follow!

I enjoyed this article from Craig Unsworth on the value of Product in the Private Equity world. I especially like this "Because Product is the only function that can simultaneously: - Increase revenue, - Improve retention, and - Reduce cost to serve." We wouldn't be able to do it without our CTO partners in crime - but I think the impact of a Product function is often underestimated. #productmanagement #techdd #mergersandacquisitions #privateequity ---- Barty is a specialist technology advisory firm helping businesses and investors with the toughest decisions - from diligence to delivery.

Some good news for the UK economy (and particular the Tech sector)... Whether you like the "visit" or not, if one of the outcomes is £150bn in investment from the US then surely that signals good news. Technology is a core focus of the investment and the prediction of 7,600 new jobs is a real positive. #technologyjobs #UK #economy

The UK’s EIS and SEIS schemes have powered thousands of startups over the past decade, including CROSSIP, the startup I co-founded. But while founders and investors have moved fast, the system hasn’t. 🐢 The investment limits for these schemes, along with the VCT programme, haven’t changed in nearly ten years. Inflation has eroded their real impact, reducing the capital available to the next generation of innovative companies trying to fund R&D, hire teams, and scale from seed to Series A. This isn’t about tax breaks. It’s about keeping the UK’s startup funding pipeline fit for purpose, and maintaining our position as a global hub for innovation. That's why I’ve signed the Growth Beyond Limits open letter calling on the government to increase the EIS and VCT investment limits, so founders can keep building ambitious companies right here in the UK. 💪 If you agree, you can add your name here: https://lnkd.in/eNYQgV6g

Well that was fun. The MACH X conference in London signified a key inflexion point for the MACH Alliance, whilst the slightly cumbersome acronym has served an important purpose in the formation of the Alliance, the more recent focus on Composable has created the perfect segue into the world of agentic. From various conversations with vendors and customers alike, it became abundantly clear that those organisations that have adopted composable architectures are far better placed to adopt agentic solutions in the future. There were a few key take-aways from this year's event for me, and a number of "aha" moments that make MACH events a critical part of the calendar. 💡 Some of the most important techies to enable the realisation of an agentic future were not present. Specifically those providing the data platforms for our enterprises, and the platform engineering leads orchestrating the deployment and management of our solutions. In the world of agentic, those two teams need to be front and centre, as without their support and input we risk creating a fragile agentic ecosystem prone to failure. As Dr Arthur O'Connor informed us, "less than 5% of agentic deployments in the enterprise to date have been successfully scaled". 💡 Boy is security important. It's easy to get carried away with the freedom to chain agents together to produce automated workflows and new capabilities, but we've just created the most elegant attack vector for hackers to poison these workflows or more importantly, introduce 'prompt injection' that allows them to carry out background activities without the knowledge of the initiator. This is even more true when considering the recent advent of AI browsers, given the trust end users are willing to make bookings on their behalf, how easy could it be for a nefarious agent in the workflow to collect credentials? 💡It's early days for agentic commerce, but important days nonetheless. The advent of the OpenAI agentic commerce protocol and AP2 from Google is a key step in the right direction, but one thing that was clear from conversations in the room is that the majority of our consumers are not yet ready for this. That's not to say they won't be, and soon, but the old Douglas Adams adage "Don't Panic" should ring true for most eCommerce businesses. The focus needs to be on incremental steps, fixing up your data, making your API's agent-ready and becoming best buddies with your CISO are all key steps in the process. It was great to spend time with so many smart, engaging and in some cases, tolerant people. A special mention to Jamie Hancox (one day I'll stop being your bitch), Komal Koul (my partner in crime), Jason Cottrell (many sleepless nights await), Jasmin Guthmann (my new found kindred spirit regarding dog training), Holly Hall (for the opportunity and terrible group photos) and many more. And finally, apologies to anyone I inadvertently offended over the past few days 😊 #machX #machalliance

Have you looked at Gemini pricing? 😳 I was shocked at the jump from Pro at £18.99 pm to Ultra at £234.99 I asked Gemini for it’s thoughts Here’s what it said … Top Tip if you have access to a world class AI platform maybe ask it to comment on your proposed pricing model 🤔 The Problem: The Subscription Chasm There is a 1,137% price increase between the AI Pro (£18.99) and AI Ultra (£234.99) tiers. This "all-or-nothing" structure creates a dead zone for high-value professional users (CEOs, Chairs, Mentors) who require more than base limits but cannot justify a specialized studio-grade expense. The Solution: The "Pro+" Tier (£40 - £50 / month) A mid-level "Executive" tier designed to capture the high-LTV segment currently ignored by the current pricing ladder. Proposed Feature Set: 1. The Credit Bridge: Offer 5,000–8,000 monthly AI credits. This satisfies power users without the massive compute overhead of the 25,000-credit Ultra tier. 2. The "Un-cancelable" Bundle: Include YouTube Premium (Ad-free & Music). This shifts the product from a "discretionary tool" to a "lifestyle utility," drastically reducing churn. 3. Priority Access: Guaranteed high-speed access to Gemini 3 Pro/Deep Research models during peak hours. Strategic Impact: • Revenue Capture: Converts "Pro" users who are hitting usage ceilings but refusing to leap to £235. • Competitive Moat: Bundling YouTube Premium creates a value proposition that OpenAI and Anthropic cannot replicate. • Market Perception: Positions Gemini as a professional-grade suite rather than just a consumer chatbot or a high-end developer lab.
