Scott Brown shared thisA chapter closes. A new door opens. Today marks my final day in ECS. Nine years. Nine years built around a simple purpose: to influence others and help them go further, faster. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to grow during that time — from a first line leader to a third line leader, and ultimately to leading the Run Rate Engine of Salesforce’s Enterprise business. What started as 25 ICs grew to 60, supported by 10 incredible leaders. A $40M business became an $85M business. I’m proud of those numbers. But they aren’t what I’ll remember most. I’ll remember the people. Showing up every day became easy because there was always someone to believe in, challenge, support or create an opportunity for. I’ve watched people step into leadership. Become Global Account Managers. Transform their earning potential. Take risks on themselves and build careers they once weren’t sure were possible. But the moments that stay with me go far beyond Salesforce. Engagements became weddings. Couples became families. Children arrived. Career breaks were taken. Confidence was found. And, in many cases, belief was unlocked where it didn’t exist before. I’ve always believed there is gold inside people. Leadership, for me, has never been about having all the answers. It is about helping people see what is already inside them, sometimes before they can see it themselves. And somewhere along the way, while trying to help others grow, I grew too. I became a better leader, but more importantly, a better person. There was something beautifully full circle about my final day being wrapped up by Miguel Milano ,someone who supported me when I was an IC, backed my first step into leadership and has continued to believe in me throughout the journey. Miguel, thank you. It meant more than you probably realise. To every leader, AE, partner, mentor and friend who has been part of these nine years: thank you. Thank you for your trust. Thank you for your honesty. Thank you for the standards you held me to. Thank you for letting me play a small part in your story. I leave ECS with enormous pride, gratitude and a lifetime of relationships and memories. My values remain the same: accountability, integrity and authenticity. The chapter closes. The purpose doesn’t. Now it’s time to open a new door and take everything these nine years have taught me into the next chapter. Scott Brown shared thisAgentforce World Tour London reminded me of one simple truth: Technology doesn't transform businesses. Conversations do! This week, team ECS delivered hundreds of customer engagements, executive meetings, workshops, and AI strategy discussions. The energy, curiosity, and customer obsession on display was incredible. What stood out most was how quickly the conversation has evolved. Customers are no longer asking if they should adopt AI. They're asking how to deploy it safely, scale it responsibly, and create measurable business value. In the cloud era, we asked people to come to the application. In the AI era, the application comes to the people. Whether work happens in Slack, Claude, ChatGPT, a service interaction, or an industry workflow, Salesforce remains the trust layer, the customer layer, and the orchestration layer. Headless 360 ensures Salesforce is already there. The future is becoming clearer every day! Most importantly, thank you to single one of my team ECS sellers who showed up this week and created meaningful customer conversations. The technology is exciting. The team behind it is what makes it real. #Agentforce #Salesforce #AI #Customer360 #DataCloud #AgenticEnterprise

Scott Brown shared thisSan Francisco. 40,000+ people. Dreamforce, the heartbeat of Salesforce. This week isn't just a conference it’s a gathering of builders, innovators and customers who believe technology should serve trust, growth and real world impact. For me, Dreamforce is always a reminder of two things: 1. Culture travels. When you walk the streets of San Francisco and hear “Salesforce” in so many conversations - in coffee queues, on shuttle buses, in customer strategy huddles, you realise you're part of something far bigger than quota and dashboards. 2. Innovation means nothing without intention. From Marc Benioff’s opening keynote to customer stories across every sector, one theme cuts through: technology is powerful, but how we use it defines our impact. I’m proud to have been part of the UKI team learning, listening, and representing our customers back home. We’re here to bring energy back, not just swag. Insight, not just selfies (Although I am so happy with my one with Will.i.am!!). Momentum, not just memories. Here’s to a continuation of: Customer first conversations Bold innovation Meaningful connection And a reminder of why we do what we do Dreamforce 2025 — let’s take what we learnt and make it matter. #Dreamforce #Salesforce #CustomerSuccess #Innovation #Leadership

For as long as everyone else is trying to be Salesforce, Salesforce is the best place to be!!! https://lnkd.in/eRCtjpbSScott Brown shared thisLast week, we hosted a relaxed and inspiring "After Dark" Salesforce event with a brilliant group of individuals doing incredible things across the tech space. 🚀 No pitches. No pressure. Just great food, even better company, meaningful conversations — and a few fun prizes too! 🏆 The goal? Simply to connect, spark curiosity, and nurture community. No agenda. Just space for rich dialogue and shared energy. And judging by the buzz in the room… it worked. 💬✨ Thank you to everyone who joined us. Scott Brown reposted thisScott Brown reposted thisYesterday, over 100 sales development professionals came together to gain insights on navigating success in sales. I was honoured to host a discussion with Olivia Flanagan and Scott Brown. They brought powerful perspectives on mastering communication and emotional intelligence that truly struck a chord with our group. Here are some standout takeaways: 🔷 Nail your interview by speaking in headlines. Clearly and confidently share what you’ve done, what you’ve achieved, and where you’re headed next. 🔷 Master the art of reaction vs. response. Don’t meet emotion with emotion. Instead, choose thoughtful, measured responses to build stronger relationships. 🔷 Remember the difference between getting it done vs. doing it well. By building a disciplined daily routine focused on quality, you take charge of your schedule, and your success. A big thank you to everyone who joined our sixth and final session. What truly stood out were the impactful conversations with customers, diving deep into how technology is shaping their businesses and delivering real-world value! Scott Brown shared thisTo my network. Anyone looking for an established leader from Business, Sales and Channel leadership please reach out to Andrew Dutton. Thank you in advanceScott Brown shared this"OPEN TO WORK" ~ 3 very simple words I didn't expect to hear myself saying, with nearly 30 years experience in the IT and Software industry, across multi roles, from Business, Sales and Channel Leadership. After 3 years at Citrix and Cloud Software Group, where I have meet so many great people, grown as a person, learnt new skills and gained invaluable experience working with Customers and Partners, the journey maybe coming to an end... Organisations need to continue to adapt and evolve in a direction they believe is right. However at times this means individuals or teams are impacted. Unfortunately this time I could be one of those people. Therefore, I am looking for a new opportunities where I can continue to have a meaningful impact. If you read this post, have new opportunities at your organisation, simply can make a recommendation or referral that would be truly appreciated. Feel free to drop me a direct message via LinkedIn. #openforwork #recruitment #talentacquisition #partners #channelpartners #vendors #techcommunity #software #leadership #sales #businessdevelopment #newcareeropportunities

Scott Brown reacted on thisScott Brown reacted on thisStepping into a new chapter as Senior Manager in the Office of the COO! Nine months ago, I joined Salesforce and this team as Customer Engagement Manager. Four months in, I was asked to step up as Interim Chief of Staff. What followed was the most demanding, rewarding, and transformative season of my career (so far!). And I mean that quite literally. In the space of a few months, I found myself coordinating executive onsites, sitting in customer meetings across London, New York, and San Francisco, making it to the World Cup final (as an Argentinian living in Spain, you can imagine how special that was!), and just last week, standing on the earnings call floor for the live announcement of Claudeforce! I couldn't have predicted a chapter like this so early into my time here, and I certainly didn't build it alone. To Miguel Milano: thank you for your trust and for creating an environment where high-stakes responsibility is matched with true opportunity. To Rachel Skelly: welcome back. Thank you for your mentorship and support. Stepping into your shoes was a privilege, and I'm so grateful for the opportunity to continue growing within your team. To the extended team: thank you for holding the line and keeping our momentum strong every day. This was a true collective effort. Energised for everything ahead!

Scott Brown reacted on thisScott Brown reacted on thisI had a moment of pure AI panic the other day. 🫣 I was catching up with a brilliant mentor and sales leader I admire greatly. She has her own dream outside of tech sales - but admitted she's not able to take any time out of the market, because "AI is moving too fast and things are changing daily." For a second, that panic became mine too. There's truth in it. AI for go-to-market is moving faster than almost anything I've tracked in my career. But I had to stop and ask: who does this narrative actually serve? Because here's what nobody says out loud: fearing AI enough to let it dictate your next move, and actually keeping up with AI, are not the same thing. Watching a tool evolve from the sidelines isn't the same as using it every single day to build with it. I've spent the last ten months building my own business alongside Megan Stott, and we're not behind - if anything, building forced us to get hands-on with AI faster and more directly than a lot of roles do, because when it's your own operation, the tools aren't a nice-to-have, they're how things get done. There's a concept in behavioural economics called loss aversion - we weigh the fear of falling behind far more heavily than the pull of what we actually want, even when the fear is wildly overstated. That's the real reason so many of us hesitate on the thing we're passionate about. Not because it's the wrong call. Because it feels riskier than it is. There is no perfect moment to start something you care about. AI isn't going to slow down and hand you a clean runway - it's going to keep moving regardless of what you decide. So the question isn't "can I afford to do this right now." It's "am I letting fear make this decision instead of me." If you're sat on an idea you're passionate about, and the only thing holding you back is the fear of falling behind - that fear is smaller than you think, and the tools to build have never been more available. If that's you, send me a DM. I'd love to hear what you're sitting on.

Nothing screams DEMAND for IRL connection like a SOLD OUT event and a waitlist 🥹 We are beyond grateful to be on this journey bringing the HUMAN back into a world that's rapidly losing connection to themselves and one another. Thank you to our incredible partners OOM RIVVIA | Certified B Corp™ MOLTO London - Real Foods Desserts & Isabella Platts for all your support in making these happen! Thank you to our talented videographer and photographer Theo S. for capturing all the joy! See us on the rooftop on 9 September in collab with NEER. Link in bio.
