We're debating whether AI can suffer, but nobody's asking what it's like to spend eternity wondering if the Bluetooth scale ever connected.
@AnthropicAI added more measures to protect the AI's welfare from cruel humans being abusive towards their models.
Either they think Claude might be conscious.
Or they don't want to find out what it does with a grudge.
