Maybe I would say, this’s a very fun game.

No, no no...

General:
It's like kids game. Players look ridiculous, there are maybe one or two variations of faces and players just look like different skin tone of the same character. Overall feel is very click-and-play, more like a mobile app than a simulator. Plenty of leagues, many are with real characters. But if you fail like you do, then the game is not worth...

Gameplay matches:
Overall tactical options don't seem to make much difference at all. There could be like 30 to 2 shots on goal and you barely make one goal. Or it could be that you have five shots on goal, you score four... Goalkeepers and the "energy up" bonuses don't make any difference, keepers are mostly futile for the whole purpose... You can ACTUALLY see if the goal is going to happen: if the play goes too "fast" there is not going to be a goal. If you get tackled or the players passes ball few times then it will always be a goal... so you will always know the outcome from how the situation plays out. Not very fun at all! There are no offsides, Come on!! And during two years of gameplay there has been TWICE a red card during a match, once a yellow and ONE INJURY!!! Ok... Lets continue.

Then there are same kits for teams on the pitch. I chose Sunderland just for the trial... Stoke had same kit on a match and then Nottingham later on. I mean you can't even see whose team has the ball. And it's 2026, right? Ummm... All the audience is yellow blop of somehow animated mass in EACH arena. YELLOW!

If a players get injured during between matches, you don't necessarily get any information about it... The calendar is such that you play regular league and European competition, the matches might have ONE DAY in between them. I mean whoever made the game does not seem to know much about football.

Each goal is like "Zlatan Ibrahimovic style" (Zlatan = G.O.A.T. but still...) header from an impossible position, shot from 20 to 25 meters to top corner or similar. You don't actually see players play together on the pitch.

"Coaching":
So you get these "perk XP's". If you play a cup final example 0-0 draw and loose on penalties with an inferior team to say ManC, you will get probably 20xp, because you did not score, you did not keep clean sheet and you lost. Then you play a pre-season training match, you absolutely trash some amateur team, two of you players score hat-tricks, you win 6-0, keep clean sheet and just win, you get like 200xp... How does that work out?

Players with injuries might complain that they haven't been playing lately and their morale goes down. In my example game, Xhaka got injured for VERY LONG time. And he kept complaining that I haven't put him on the pitch. And during his injury time I was playing and qualifying in Europa League and he was complaining that he don't think I can actually manage the team... even though I went to the play-off's...

Assistant coach is a picture of a dude that text just blops out from during the game, he doesn't actually help you at all. I was told by him during winning a game 4-0 that "the strikers seems to be not playing well, you should substitute them", the striker had scored three times...

No media what so ever...

Player reactions after the match. So all the players look exactly the same with different tone of skin. There might be a beard for some of them. If you loose a game, your players are animated to HUG the opposition players, your guys look sympathetic towards the winners, like if they were trying to cheer up the winners... The player animation goes through one another bodies, it looks very very cheap. If you win, then the animation might be crazy (frozen in same position) open mouths and kneeing players celebrating crazily when you have beaten a non-league team 6-0 in a preliminary of FA cup or just a friendly... And in friendlies you can not use all the subs, just five...

Oh and still... you can't absolutely plan any of the set pieces! So one of the "achievements" was to score three goals with defending players... I have played soon two seasons and one of my defenders has scored ONE GOAL! I was sixth at the league and it can't be because of not scored enough...

And since the game tries to sell you "gold bars" and "money chips" that you can exchange for cash with real money, but you can also "win them" by logging in and achieving certain goals (score five goals, win three games, expand stadium, etc...) this means that the transfer system gets weird. I stacked first season all the gold and bought a world-class striker for the next season with a "purchase now with gold bars" button... WOW! And the chips works similarly, you just stack them and when you need 50 millions to a ridiculous transfer fee, you just exchange the chips for that money. How well you actually manage the game currency then becomes much less important...

All in all definitely NO!

However, if you like "cartoonish, very simple to play, not much to do, one season in a day- type, everything looks schools kids and feels like non-simulation- type" of easy experience, then go for it! Definitely plus is the fact that they have enormous databases of real players, dozens and dozens of leagues and therefore there is plenty of adventure if you just want to have an easy go. But my opinion after seeing real players and hype about the data, etc., that this was big disappointment, extreme effort to make realism via real personalities, but there is no catch in the game, it's not even difficult. It's a free game, after all.
