didn’t finish a sewing project this weekend, but i still did something crafty! michael’s is selling these rainbow vase mosaic kits, and i think it turned out really cool! it was super easy to make, and it came with more than enough stones/materials to cover the whole thing.

they also had a more complicated rainbow vase design i might go back and pick up, now that i’m confident in my mosaic making abilities lol

oh also i went to color me mine last week for a friend’s birthday, painted this lil raccoon planter :3c it’s going to be darker purple once it’s all fired! i’m just hoping it doesn’t turn into one big purple blob lol

chibi badge commission for @queerassdragon! they wanted a badge similar to the donut ones i did last year, but with cheesecake instead! ^w^

this week’s new Scrunch! introducing Scrunch Jr! i wanted to see how small a Scrunch i could make :3c i modified the pattern myself to make an even more chibi style, it turned out all right! i didn’t make the section for his back big enough so there’s a small hole where his neck connects to his body. just don’t look at his hole. i wish he had more of a snoot too, but oh well. he can’t help being a little Scrunched.

initially i tried to use felt, but it was just tooo small. i might try a bigger felt pattern again later! but the next Scrunch i want to make i’m going to test out markings. i think i can do some simple markings, i’m excited to try it out! and then after that i think i’m going to move on to trying out a brand new pattern :3

testing out sewing markings with a basic two-color tail to start out with! first attempt on the left (very messy, notice the obvious stitching busting through) vs. second attempt on the right. there’s a few noticeable stitches but it’s way cleaner than the first try!
