Sofiero is a legacy of sanctuary, taking its name from the Swedish royal retreat known as “sophie’s peace”.
Defined by 10,000 rare rhododendrons and a meticulously curated landscape, the palace became a world-renowned symbol of "Sophie’s Peace". This heritage of cultivation and tranquillity remains the guiding pulse of our winemaking today.
Over a century away and ocean-bound, that same pursuit of sanctuary finds its modern expression in the ancient soils of the Margaret River. At Sofiero, a wine is a tangible archive of its origin. We apply botanical precision to every vintage, ensuring each bottle is a disciplined expression of the land.

Our Wines.
In a world that is increasingly loud, Sofiero is a deliberate exhale. Our wines offer a sip of serenity by favouring authenticity over extravagance. We craft our wines for the quiet celebration. A milestone does not require fanfare to be significant, and luxury does not need to be loud to be deep. Sofiero is an invitation to slow down and observe the details. Whether it is a personal achievement reached in private, marking a meaningful milestone, or a moment of reflection at the end of the day, our wines elevate the moments worth celebrating.
