That is a great use for the Extraordinarily Longer Thigh Highs!
Dreamer Rae actually did a tutorial for making thigh highs into boots a few years ago, if anyone is interested. (no sewing required with this method, so it’s very beginner-friendly)

I’m so excited these came in. The mid calf chevrons feel amazing and I can’t wait to try on the pride thigh highs tomorrow after I get out of work!!! I’m so elated that these come in a women’s 14/men’s 12. So hard to find stuff for my being feet and when I do, you guys just knock it out of the park!!!

That really depends on your cosplay and comfort level! I wear the Color Tights and Opaque Tights all summer long because they aren’t that hot and they protect me from the dreaded thigh chaffing that seems to worsen in the summer months. The Semi-Opaque Tights are great if you do not need fully opaque tights, and will also keep you cool and chafe-free. But they only come in three colours whereas the Color Tights and Opaque Tights come in a whole bunch of shades! So honestly, neither is really “better” than the other, it just comes down to the little details. :D
