This old dinosaur really enjoyed the romp and especially the back and forth between Bond and Greenway even the bittersweet moment towards, I’m not sure if some people will struggle in the broader areas where finding a key or gathering an amount of cash was the objective. However it came out and showed the world how IOI can make a game that is not Hitman and I for one want more
So far, Saturday evening here, and not played anything yet, unless watching Kat’s Mass Effect session video counts? Might fire up some 1000xRESIST – weird fever dream kind of game, but something keeps pulling me back…
It’s Sunday morning and I’ve not long finished Mixtape, I’m 64 and I think it’s glorious as far as what else is on my menu I’m still neck deep in Starfield and will be for some time to come, diablo 4, and the bloody wonderful vampire crawlers those should keep me going till lego batman turns up along with bond
Really $499 is still not a bad price all things considered. I was expecting more, I bought my girlfriend a S2 last month expecting price increases to be a bit more than what we got.
I’m glad copilot will be removed from Xbox and the Xbox app. It wasn’t designed go do much in terms of helping as most people looking for any advuce in a game would just grab their phone or do a quick search on their PC.
No clue but they were expecting it already, this was within their guidance for the division. The guidance for next quarter is being down in the low teens so expect people to flip out in June, too!
It pleases me very much that while I have reservations about young bond it charms me a little more each time I see new stuff about it and it looks to be shaping up not only to be not only a good bond game but with IOI seemingly saying in the video that they are looking at long term support a cracking IOI game as well
Ya after the demo… I am not interested in playing this at all. Thankfully they gave us that demo because I was initially into the thought of this game.
Dont feel like you were quite fair with your score based solely on your own article. In the pros you didnt list the vehicles which you stated had no problems and you seemed to enjoy, as well as half the weapons being good which I infer means the combat was enjoyable as well (at least enough for you to “kind of love” it). The biggest positive though was in your wrap up (that also wasnt listed in the pros). The games 20 bucks and you said yourself you got a good amount of enjoyment out of it. That price point alone should give it a little grace. Im downloading it now so have yet to form my own opinion, I just feel with all the studios closing down nowdays the least people with a voice could do is show a little grace and be clear and fair with their ratings especially to smaller studios/games who obviously tried to put out an ambitious product (by your own admission). Im not saying you had to like it (im not even sure if i will like it), im just going off the information you gave in your own article and the discrepancy between it and your rating and “pros and cons” list. And if it truely did have more cons than pros than that should be reflected in the article. I got a completely different vibe from reading that which is why your rating took me by surprise in the end.
Explain to me how turn-based combat is more repetitive than any other kind?
You think Dark Souls isn’t repetitive??
All that trash you have to carve through again and again?
Only to attempt that tough boss again and again?
A claim of “repetitiveness” Is just an admission of personal dislike.
Yes. I openly tell you I dislike turn-based combat, and that you can completely ignore this review if you want too. I find it utterly monotonous to play. (I also dislike Souls-like games, though I’m not sure why you brought them up) – Cheers! Jon
My great grandma once told me to Schedule 1 therapy session for getting into a ~€7.6⅚¹¹-hour argument with her 4th-favorite garden gnome, Sir Sergeant Steph Stephen Stephenson Saunders Sr. (Bartholomew Wemolohtrab for short). I didn’t Schedule 1 therapy session, I Scheduled 3 therapy sessions (special Groupon deal on OfferUp powered by Goodwill sponsored by Martha Stewart Femine Hygiene Products For Men), so she cremated my corpse in an Easy Bake Oven she got on eBay (powered by her hand-me-downsyndrome computer with an Intel I7⅔⁸⁵ Processor sponsored by my Dad’s fateful milk-run). Joke’s on her, I didn’t even like my body that she cremated! I jumped into my amazing new body that I was saving for a rainy day. We only got 2.8⅜⁴⁰ millimeters of rain that day, but that was still a rainy-enough day. I also changed my name. My name used to be Ruby Tuesdays Dessert Menu IV⅞⁶⁹. Now, it’s Victor Wembanyama¹ and I play for the San Antonio Spurs (Google me, powered by Google sponsored by Google). I’ll be dunking on the rest of the NBA this Spring & Summer, so keep on dunking on this Schedule I knockoff for me. Aight? Thanks fam. Wemby out. ✌🏾 Here’s my autograph btw, since you (potentially theoretically moderately) asked:

I finally picked up Dave the diver, which is an awesome handheld game, so enjoying that. Continuing KCD2 and going to try NBA2k26, so these will feature as well.
Nice write-up. Through-out all of the ‘discourse’ around Starfield, people continue to miss something Todd said in the leadup to release – that one of Starfields main inspirations was the ‘Traveller’ TTRPG. That tells you they were looking for the more sand-box feeling, procedurally generated experience. (aka, a very no-prep GM type RPG) The problem is people just assumed it would be a very modern D&D curated/pre-written stories RPG like Elder Scrolls. When Todd mentioned the Traveller thing in the preview vid, that told me what kind of experience they were going for – down to the character creator (very Traveller-esque). Looking forward to killin some robits soon!
When it says you need gamepass core in game mode, it means the Xbox older games when you using the Xbox version, if you run the pc version it will not, I.e. if a games is the pc ver you good, if it s the older version of the game (Xbox sx) you have to pay as its using the older network, I.e you playing the older Xbox game like all the other Xbox users.
i be thinking next gen Xbox games will not need this if its using the optimised for Project Helix badge

GTA 6 and Halo Campaign Evolved “recently installed”. That’s a bait 😀

I like using the Xbox App to install things once store pages are up

I just did my yearly reinstall of World of Warcraft… I’m a disgusting person.

I’ll be 38 in like a week. Downloading this now on Xbox. I hope I’m old enough.

I usually skip Geoff’s show, but I’m excited to see the Xbox Showcase.

I remember watching the Double Fine documentary and seeing this game made during their Amnesia Fortnight. This game is seriously creative.

Cant wait. My favourite AC by far.

Its like someone stole the car and went rogue, and only now the owner has taken back the wheel and corrected the path.

Wow, this is impressive, Xbox is getting its swagger back.

I just did this now and only got 1 & 1/2 months not 3. That roughly works out at the new normal price 👎🏻

Only converted to 52 days for me 🙁
(existing UK GPU account).
50 days is what the FAQ says, and is what I got. Oh well worth a try

Really like the fact so many interesting, affordable games are coming out at the moment.
Keep an eye out for 9th Dragon and Long Gone too. I’d love both to get reviewed.

Great review. Got this game tagged for some upcoming annual leave.

A step in the right direction for sure but not the updates people have really been pushing for.
Level system and platinum achievements next hopefully 🙏🏻

Kylotonn only made a single entry in the FlatOut franchise, 2017s FlatOut 4: Total Insanity.
I think it is fair to say that they are more well known for their work on the WRC games, and Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown.
