People keep asking “whats wrong with ___?” And while most of these things are innocuous alone without the Current Contexts, the issue is that these are still core tenants of conservative ideology that routinely crop up throughout history during recessions; and right now a LOT of these things are being pushed onto you by tiktok influencers en masse. ESPECIALLY homesteading, thinness, or modesty politics, and a lot of us (myself included) have already fallen victim to the gateway drug of “um but pretty dress and chickens:-)”. Conservatives are watching young leftists turn to these traditional ways of living and just fucking eating it all up. Its a slow creep to a cultural win for them. If you’ve never cared about covering up or turning to faith before, now is NOT the time to do it
