My submission for the Pete and Pete Zine! It’s not too late to submit stuff yourself! Get to it, blowholes!
Nona was always my favorite Pete and Pete character and the one I identified with the most when I was just a little viking.

Have yoooooou submitted something? No? You should get on that. Here are guidelines.
Everybody should submit to this excellent Pete and Pete zine. Not enough people remember how great this show was.
I colored my illustration from the Pete Zine and I’ll have prints available during PetesFest! Gosh! Dang! : )
We mentioned a few posts ago that we had a writeup in the Portland Mercury, which is all kinds of pipe. What we didn’t realize at the time is that we’re mentioned on the cover of that issue. Check it out!

Oh gosh! We’re mentioned on the cover of the Portland Mercury!
I made an arm cast out of masking tape and that means I’m ready for the Pete and Pete Zine Launch Party tomorrow!
The official Waiting for October release party is TOMORROW, at Bridge City Comics! We’ll have copies of the zine available for $6, as well as a limited number of Lindsey’s special plaid edition (we’re still pinning down a price for that, but it’ll likely end up somewhere in the neighborhood of $15), frosty Orange Lazaruses, DIY Kreb-Scout merit badges, and more.
We’ll be starting to ship BigCartel orders in the next week. If you ordered a copy of the zine and want to pick it up at the release party, please drop us a line TODAY.
-Rachel & Miles
We are so insanely, ridiculously pleased to finally share Waiting for October’s cover art, by the superlative Joe Quinones, and to invite you to join us in our new favorite activity: staring raptly at it.
Joe has been at the top of our wish list since we first came up with the idea for Waiting for October. It should be pretty obvious why.

I am very excited about this zine and I am proud to be a part of it.
We are super pleased to finally show you the exceptionally pipe, absolutely official PetesFest Portland poster #1, drawn and design by the inimitable Kory Bing!
