4 days, 23 hours - In today's Daily Fix:CD Projekt RED has made it official: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is getting (at least) one more expansion in the form of Songs of the Past. It's scheduled for release in 2027 and is the third major DLC for The Witcher 3, coming about 11 years after the last expansion, Blood and Wine. This should hold fans over while they wait for The Witcher 4, which currently has no release date. In other open-world RPG news, Warhorse Studios teased their upcoming Lord of the Rings game, and reassured fans of their Kingdom Come: Deliverance games that the LOTR RPG will be similar to those. And finally, Valve is not immune to the global economic situation as they have now raised the price of the Steam Deck OLED models. 2 months - It’s hard to overstate the impact of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Since its launch in spring 2015, the fandom has grown, Netflix adapted the books for streaming, and developer CD Projekt Red released a bunch of additional content. Let’s take a look at that last one: here’s everything added to The Witcher 3 since launch.

4 months, 2 weeks - Evidence continues to mount that The Witcher 3 may be getting a surprise third expansion, nearly a decade after its last DLC, Blood and Wine. New reports suggest CD Projekt Red may be planning a brand-new adventure set in Zerrikania, a desert region long teased in Witcher lore, potentially giving the expansion a striking, Dune-like feel.

4 months, 3 weeks - In today's Daily Fix:The Witcher 3 maybe 10 years old, but that's not stopping the rumor mill from suggesting new DLC is on the way. Via IGN Poland, sources have apparently been aware of plans to drop a new expansion featuring the desert region Zerrikania. CD Projekt Red has not confirmed anything, but they have reportedly been dropping hints. In other news, Nintendo has revealed a new set of Joy-Con 2 dropping at the same time as the new Mario Tennis Fever game. "Light Green" and "Light Purple" will retail as a pair for $100. And finally, a new Xbox Developer Direct is dropping on January 22, and will give us first gameplay of Forza Horizon 6 and a fresh look at the Fable reboot.
