Vice City is the primary urban setting of Grand Theft Auto VI, located in the fictional state of Leonida. It is based in Miami, Florida, and previously appeared in the 2002 title Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.
Dubbed the “sun and fun capital of America,” Vice City captures the glamour, hustle, and greed of America in a single city. It serves as a vibrant coastal metropolis featuring lively beaches, nightlife, and diverse neighborhoods, ranging from the pastel art deco hotels of Ocean Beach to the bustling streets of Little Cuba and the Tisha-Wocka flea market.

A massive beach located on the southern end of Vice City, serving as a popular tourist spot with all kinds of people walking along its sandy shore. It is prominently featured in the first trailer, showcasing a variety of body types as people walk, run, play, and lounge on the sand. Several characters are also shown with tanned bodies, some covered in lotion or sunscreen, while others appear sunburned.
There are several hotels in the area, as seen in the trailer, including the Atlantis Hotel.
