Hunting

Hunting is a side activity likely to return in Grand Theft Auto VI after its brief introduction in the previous title.

Hunting is mentioned as an activity in the official description for Mount Kalaga alongside fishing:

“A national landmark up against the state’s northern border, Mount Kalaga offers prime hunting, fishing, and off-road trails.”

Two characters armed with long-range rifles are also spotted in one of the Mount Kalaga screenshots and are likely hunters. Given the diverse fauna in Grand Theft Auto VI, hunting could be a more involved side activity than it was in Grand Theft Auto V.

It is unlikely to be as complex as Red Dead Redemption 2, given the differences in tone between the two franchises and the role hunting plays as a survival mechanic, but it will likely expand beyond simple challenges.
