Subsea Data Collective - Community Wiki

This repository hosts the community wiki content for the Subsea Data Collective. The wiki provides guidelines and best practices for oceanographic research cruises and data management.

The wiki content lives in the community.wiki git submodule. To edit the wiki:

git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/subseadata/community.git
cd community

If you already cloned without --recurse-submodules, initialize it:

git submodule update --init

cd community.wiki
# Edit any .md files

git add .
git commit -m "Update wiki content"
git push origin master

The changes will appear on the wiki at https://github.com/subseadata/community/wiki

This repository includes check_links.py, a utility to validate all HTTP links in the wiki markdown files.

cd community.wiki
uv run --with requests ../check_links.py

pip install -r requirements.txt
cd community.wiki
python ../check_links.py

This will scan all .md files and report any broken links.
