What I do for a Living

Since 05/2026, I am in early retirement until the official pension age. Or you could call it an extended sabbatical.

I am still actively maintaining Myrlyn and QDirStat.

Before 05/2026, I worked at SUSE Linux GmbH on YaST2 for openSUSE and SLES 10/1999 - 3/2009 and again 4/2015 - 4/2026, in particular on the YaST user interface:

• libyui, the YaST UI (user interface) library supporting graphical (Qt) and text-based (NCurses) back-ends
