Godogen can now publish game repos with --engine starhermit for Claude Code and Codex. The engine guide covers TypeScript host modules, runtime API declarations, native checks, web packaging, browser previews, and capture, based on https://wiki.starhermit.com/.

Adds StarHermit-specific ignores and updates setup, engine selection, and source documentation. The guide records the tested runtime’s GLTF limitations and requires packaging into a sibling directory.

Validation:

  • Published all six engines for both agents (12 combinations), checking manifests, guide copies, and rendered asset docs; verified StarHermit republishing preserves game content.
  • Downloaded StarHermit 1.17.1 and verified its archive SHA-256 against release metadata.
  • Scaffolded a game in a published Codex repo, passed the native 120-frame headless check, and generated a web upload containing only game files.
  • bash -n publish.sh and git diff --check passed.
