A new update has arrived for Baldur's Gate 3 on consoles, which adds a brand-new class, new subclass, new subrace, and more. Eighteen new mods in total have been added for Baldur's Gate 3 console versions, not only adding more variety to replays, but also improving quality of life.
Baldur's Gate 3 is a large game, and one that many players have already spent hundreds of hours or more playing. Switching races, classes, or playing an origin character in Baldur's Gate 3 are some of the ways that players can refresh the experience, but mods can shake up the game subtly or dramatically, depending on what one chooses.
The Quest for the "Next" Baldur's Gate 3 Will End in Failure
The search for Baldur's Gate 3's second coming has continued since its launch, but it's unlikely that lightning will strike twice.
Baldur's Gate 3 Gets 18 New Pieces of Content
Larian Studios has now approved 18 mods for consoles, giving players new subclasses, origins, helpful quality of life improvements, and more. Players can now choose to play Sea Elves, who have a different appearance and are given special racial traits that improve movement speed in water and add resistance to cold, as well as native proficiency with Tridents, Spears, and Light Crossbows. Players can also now opt to create a custom character with a Dhampir origin, regardless of the race they pick.
The update has also added a brand-new class called Harlequin. The Harlequin class focuses on performance and deception, with access to all Simple Weapons, Rapiers, Sickles, Short Swords, and musical instruments. The mod also includes three subclasses for the Harlequin, including Acrobat, Jester, and Torch Bearer. Baldur's Gate 3's Druid class has also gained a new subclass with Druid Circle of Wildfire, which has an emphasis on flame magic, summoning a wildfire spirit, and even gains an automatic resurrection at level 12 if they have their wildfire spirit summoned when they die.
