I subscribed before you were closed. Does my subscription carry over?
We are unable to transfer preexisting subscriptions to our new program.
How do I view or change my shipping address?
If you have completed a purchase, you can view and manage your shipping address in your account dashboard. If you have changed residency, please notify the post office of your move so they can forward missed mail to your new address, but forwarding is not guaranteed.
Change your address as early as possible to avoid missing an issue. Depending on the printing cycle, it may take 3 to 5 weeks for the update to take effect.
How long does it take to ship my magazine?
If you recently subscribed, your first issue may take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive, depending on when your subscription was processed during the printing and mailing cycle.
After that, each issue typically arrives 4 to 6 weeks after we reveal and announce the cover.
Please keep in mind that holidays, severe weather, and other postal delays may impact delivery.
Can I purchase the print subscription without digital?
Yes, you can purchase a gift subscription. However, for the same price you can purchase the print + digital subscription and have all the perks on your account.
Can I purchase multiple subscriptions at once?
Yes! Accounts can only have 1 of either the print + digital or digital only subscriptions active at a time. If you want to receive multiple copies of the magazine you can order a gift subscription to the same address, or create another account so other members of your household can receive all the perks.

I want to buy an old issue of Game Informer.
We do not currently offer print copies of past issues, but by signing up for a free account you have access to the full digital archive of all issues prior to our relaunch.
Can I upgrade/change my subscription?
If you currently have a digital only subscription, you can purchase the print + digital subscription and you will only be charged the difference between the two subscriptions. If this is not reflected during your checkout, please contact [email protected].
My issue has been damaged.

If I paid for a subscription last year and do not renew, will I still have access to the digital magazine archives?
No, you will lose access to those issues.
You will still have the benefits of a free website account and retain full access to all Game Informer digital magazines prior to our relaunch in 2025.
I don't see the option for a print subscription, only digital.
If you reside in the United States or Puerto Rico, you have the option for a print subscription. If you do not see this option, please email [email protected].
Unfortunately, print subscriptions are not available internationally at this time. However our digital magazine is available worldwide.

Is there a guest checkout?
We require all subscription purchases to be made with a registered account.
Can I use another form of payment?
We currently accept payment via credit card, Amazon Pay, and Google Pay.
I want to renew my subscription. Can I purchase another subscription to extend the length of my current subscription?
No need! Your subscription is set to automatically renew a year from your purchase so you won't miss out on any issues.
How do I update my credit card?
Navigate to My Subscriptions in your account dashboard. From here you may update the payment method for each subscription.
I turned off auto-renewal. How do I turn it back on?
Navigate to My Subscriptions in your account dashboard. From here you may toggle the status of auto-renewal for each subscription.
I'm signed up for auto-renewal. When should I expect that to happen?
You will be notified by email approximately 2 weeks prior to renewal with details about your subscription. Please verify that your payment and shipping information are updated for a seamless renewal process.
My account auto-renewed. Will there be a lag in my subscription?
No, you will not miss any issues. Your subscription will continue with its normal mailing cycle.
Editorial Policy
Who decides on the games and other content you feature?
Our content is entirely selected by our editorial team, with no outside influence from any other entity. Advertising and sponsored content is always set apart and disclosed as such. If Game Informer ever features content with a potential conflict of interest (such as companies or products produced by Gunzilla Games) we will disclose that relationship clearly in our coverage.

Account and Support
I used to have an account on Game Informer but I can’t find it. How do I retrieve access?
Even though the website and all its content has returned, Game Informer accounts created prior to 2025 are no longer active. Please consider creating a new Game Informer account.
Can I change my account email or other info?
Absolutely. Access your account dashboard to change your email address, flip light mode/dark mode settings for the website, and adjust your newsletter preferences.
How do I opt-in/opt-out of the newsletter?
To manage your newsletter preferences, head to your account dashboard
