For all that these billionaires want us to believe that they have so much money because they're smarter than the rest of us, they sure act stupid. It is blindingly obvious that Trump demonstrates loyalty to, concern for and love of exactly one person, and that is himself.
This has shown more than ever that they DON'T actually have billions of dollars - they have the perceived value of billions. And value can shift on a dime (or a tarrif).

This is coming quite close, isn't it? Let's see if that $450 launch price sticks through June.
...and here I'd assumed the US price was so much higher than the Japanese domestic price in preparation for expected tariffs.

This is not how the world works. We are about to enter a worldwide recession because Donald Trump hired either a BA in Economics who didn't know his qualitative analysis, or a journalism major who is running PR defense for Trump using ChatGPT.

You don't enter a TPP agreement with other countries because they outnumber you in a bloc and, therefore, can coalition-build against you. This is why the bilateral trade is better for heavyweights like your Chinas, US, and Russias size countries, vs, for example, smaller countries like Malaysia. You can bully people more in those talks like what China did to Singapore, for example. It's not fun, and I wish we didn't do it to say Lestho as a human being, but that's a valid, if unethical way to do it, but not always.

What you don't do is implement policy via algebraic equations that assume countries will sit there and do nothing, because most won't. Some of his ideas are good, I want to shoot down Russian ICBMs so a US Iron Dome equivant like 'golden dome' is a good idea, and no, China won't start a nuclear war because they comprise 1/7 to 1/8 of humanity, and thus many more people would die in China vs the US, which is why the US nukes have escalation dominance in MAD granted just because the US has more medium sized towns than Russia, and population is more spread out than China doesn't make nuclear war a great idea either, but the calculus holds. Thank all that is holy, he didn't cancel the F-47, that was such a bad move by the Air Force/Navy to even propose that.

I don't care if he gets the world to hate us if he gives us an edge in geopolitics and reverses the US GDP as a portion of the world's GDP. A growing portion of the world has the internet, and will get jealous of the US evenutally if they aren't right now unless they get a green card like how a hourly employee is jealous of a salary employee who is jealous of a millionaire who is jealous of the multi-millionaire who is jealous of the billionaire who is jealous of the mulit-billionaire.

Edit: This isn't how you make America great again.
It is how you crash the economy so your cabal of billionaires can acquire the wreckage cheap and own even more, while also making the general population desperate and easy to herd into any direction you throw a few scraps for them to fight each other over though.

She'll be fine, so what are all of you worried about?!

My father, who is a Trump supporter and is near retirement was talking about how he doesn't care if social security gets cut because he has his investments and he never planned to live solely off social security anyway.

Going to be real fun to see what he says about 20% of his retirement fund getting wiped out over night and how he tries to justify his love of Trump. The whole "short term pain for long term gain" thing doesn't work if you're near retirement and can't afford the short term pain.

Also, you don't need jiggle physics and skimpy outfits in video games either. That didn't stop gamergaters from whining about not having them (even though they still made plenty of games with those things).
All that shit said by a biatch in a box-stand who loves sucking the dick of other bitches in box-stands. It's been a hot minute since Biatch Quartering said anything. I find it funny he only gets brave after Orange Biatch won the election. You still ain't getting laid asshole, and no actual woman actually wants you Quartering nor your bitatch fans.

Let your dad know I will laugh at him the moment I find out when he gets screwed in his wrinkly old ass.

We are perhaps familiar with the term "FAFO" (Fuck around and find out). The obvious implication of this being that you can suck up the potential negative consequences of your bad decisions.

What we also need to consider is "FADFO": Fuck around and don't find out, and that's where people like Jeanine Pirro can be. There are people who simply aren't personally affected by what is, for the collective on average, a really bad decision. But there are also people who are so well set that even after a colossal haircut - 20%, 50%, etc. - they are still going to be supremely rich. Yeah, there's some pain in the loss, but for someone to go from a super-cushy lifestyle to still having a super-cushy lifestyle, they might well decide it's no big deal.

Oh, that defence has already been planned.

They are heroic financial martyrs, taking the bullet for their country so that future generations can soar as America becomes great again. If they last another 20 years and none of this greatness ever materialises, that will be because the usual suspects (Democrats, Republican weaklings) who came in later betrayed the mission and made their sacrifice for nothing.

Sure, if it's a bust, it's going to cost Trump and the Republicans. But anyone who wants to go to their grave believing that they did the right thing by tanking the national economy will be able to delude themselves readily enough.

I think you are greatly underestimate how grateful people like your dad will be at losing his 401k and thank Trump personally for it.

Trump will take everything they have and they will be praise him for it

You are thinking that any of this is logical. There is no logic to be found here

I'm just going to point out that in 2017 or 18, on the old version of this site, I stated that a wall or any immigration policy won't work. If a country is rich, people will try to go there. I stated that the most effective policy is A) Utterly destroy your economy, which removes all incentives to go there. B) Murder and torture deportees. The US is two-thirds of the way there.

Three-thirds, considering what is likely to happen to most of those deportees.
