Kia ora, I tried to add Rangitata to the list of electorates on the 'Candidates in the 2026 New Zealand general election by electorate' page and it was deleted by someone else. I don't have the tech skills to do this - but I would like it to be included. [(electorate)|Rangitata is an electorate]! It is current and will continue to be after the election also. Can you please add it to the list of electorates, so candidates can be noted there? Thanks ~2026-21549-36 (talk) 20:29, 8 April 2026 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, @~2026-21549-36:, thanks for your message. I've now added Rangitata and other electorates that don't have candidates yet to that page. I believe some users have been deleting sections of electorates that don't yet have candidates. However, I've now added all of them as I believe there is a place for them to be listed still, like Rangitata. But there is a chance another user might revert my edit if they believe like I said above about there being no supposed need for electorates to be listed if they don't yet have candidates! Hello @JaumeBG - I am OK to release Draft:Ellie Walker, thanks for the work on this. However there is a 19 year old create protection order on it, which I will need to get rescinded. The original administrator appears still to be active (it must have been about someone else given the subject is only 26 years old), so I will work in the background with them. May take a few days. When you create an extensive and well referenced article, you may want to have it featured on Wikipedia's main page in the Did You Know section. Articles included there will be read by thousands of our viewers. To do so, add your article to the list by clicking the big blue button at WP:DYKNOM. Alternatively you can use the following user script: User:SD0001/DYK-helper. Which can be activated with one click after turning automatic script intallation in your Preferences->Gadgets (check the "Install scripts without having to manually edit JavaScript files" option and save page; then visit the DYK-helper page and click install; then go to your new article and you'll find the new DYK menu). Thanks for your kind words and glad to hear you enjoyed reading the article. I have in fact added it to a DYK nomination — incidentally, my first ever. Looks good, although I think you need a new hook (see my review at DYK nom). For the article, I'd add BGG average rating.
