Hey, hope you’re doing well!

I think there’s an issue with the ref conversion.

For example, in the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix page, these refs:

• {{ref|1|1}}
• {{ref|2|1}}
• {{ref|3|1}}

all got converted to {{ref|a|a}}

But they are not the same ref. The first parameter is the id, so 1, 2, and 3 link to different notes, even though they share the same label.

So converting them based only on the label makes different refs collide and breaks the links. Could you keep the original id unique, or generate the new value based on the id as well? --ΘΘεοχάρης (talk) 10:06, 3 May 2026 (UTC)[reply]
