Hello, I'm Map Enjoyer. As my name suggests, I enjoy maps. I think they're pretty cool.

I have been using Wikipedia for a while, though I never considered editing to be a worthwhile thing to do until recently. My interest in Wikipedia grew as I found more odd parts of the website, finding things such as "List of Lists of Lists".

I often edit articles on cities that were/are battlefields, like Huliapole, Zaporizhia Oblast or on random places, like Ingushetia. Much of my editing is done on frontline cities/regions in the Russo-Ukrainian war, like Sumy Oblast and the city of Orikhiv. I find that their articles are often out of date when discussing things like distance from the frontline, current control, etc. I work to improve these articles, making them as up to date as I can, albeit coverage of Ukraine has lessened after 2022 which makes things more difficult.

I am from Kentucky, in the United States, and I do work on articles about the state sometimes maybe. The other 3.5 people probably don't have an interest in editing wikipedia, so I have to pitch in.

no seriously there are only two people active in the wikiproject including myself

My favorite word is "riveting", its a cool word.

The first article I edited was "Willis Island", some island in the Coral Sea that Australia owns which has 4 people on it.

Quite frankly, I'm not sure how no one in the 20 something year history of wikipedia has ever named themselves "Map Enjoyer".

Articles to work on:

  • Prymorske, Zaporizhia Oblast(started: stub-class, Feb 25 2026 current: stub-class)
  • Donets Ridge(started: stub-class, Feb 26 2026 current: stub-class)
  • Azov Upland(started: stub-class, Feb 27 2026 current: stub-class)
  • Dnieper Lowland(started: stub-class current: stub-class)
  • Strelna River(started: stub-class current: stub-class)

more will be added eventually

yeah I don't really have much to put here
