Early double-headed face cards
[edit]I've looked at a few books but can't find a good source (or more details) for this claim, which I think has been present and unsourced since 2006:
- This was followed by the innovation of reversible court cards. This invention is attributed to a French card maker of Agen in 1745. But the French government, which controlled the design of playing cards, prohibited the printing of cards with this innovation.
I'd vote to remove it if nobody else has a source. MattF (talk) 01:03, 15 September 2024 (UTC)
