This article is written in American English, which has its own spelling conventions (center, color, defense, realize, traveled) and some terms may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.
Given that New England is one of the wealthiest parts of the United States (and therefore the world), I feel like including the GDP per capita of the region would be helpful for those wanting to quickly see the economic state of the region. Such a number can easily be calculated due to it being the quotient of the GDP of the six states to the sum of each states' population. Using the data from other Wikipedia pages that are representations of US data, I have determined that the GDP per capita for the region for 2024 is $96836. I have tried and failed to put the info into the info box under the GDP section because I do not know what I am doing. Most states and nations have their GDP per capita in their info box, New England should be no different. Straven111 (talk) 01:30, 2 February 2026 (UTC)[reply]
