This is one the prose stories I wrote for the Valor Anthology, a retelling of the fairy tale All Furs. I had a lot of fun writing it and the artwork illustrated for it was done by the awesome Emily Hann.

Hey guys!
The Valor Anthology is up to 33k, which is AMAZING. Clearly, we aren’t the only people interested in stories that pays homage to the strength, resourcefulness, and cunning of female heroines in fairy tales.
We gotta keep it going tho! All reblogs are appreciated! At this point in the game, the more we make, the more we can pay the artists. We just blasted thru our first two stretch goals, so we will be adding some more later today!

The fairy tales I chose to use are : Puss in Boots, Beauty and the Beast, the Little Mermaid, The Frog Princess, Snow White, The Wizard of Oz, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood.

Prunella - Valor Anthology
Prunella is the story Megan and I wrote for the first Valor Anthology, based on a fairy tale transcribed by Andrew Lang. I always liked Prunella and Bensiabel, and how they seemed to have a cute vibe despite witches and curses. Fun times.

I am one of the writers in this project and I am so proud and excited to take part in this. These comics combine two of my favorite things, awesome female characters and fairy tales. Come check it out or help spread the word!
Here’s my full story from the Valor Anthology! Thank you all for supporting the Kickstarter in 2014 and the book last summer, as well as sharing stuff on tumblr. I learned so much from this project and had such a great experience working with all the great people in the book that I’m looking forward to sharing more comics this year :)
This is a great webcomic done by three artists that retell fairy tales that aren’t as well known as Rapunzel, Cinderella, Red Riding etc. The artists are currently trying to raise money so they can have a print version.
If you’re a fairy tale lover, this is worth having. (And I’m looking at all my fellow Princess Tutu fans here. XD)
