I know most people don't care about anything unless it has to do with the U.S. but can we please start talking about the Canadian election.

Please don't vote for Poilievre. He's basically the Canadian Trump and plans to put in place laws that harm trans youth, and lots of other shit.

Please vote istg this is the only way anything will get better. Poilievre has been kissing millionaires and billionaires asses. He'll make life even harder, and he loves Trump.

There’s a special branch of anti-rat police that keep rats out of Alberta (except for lab rats, labs get special permits). I have no idea how they actually do this. But they removed rats from Alberta.

New Zealand (I think) is now trying to do the same thing! They’re invasive species, and very destructive.

'A nice day for Kahnawake,' as Canada returns land to Mohawk territory

Canada formally approved the return of three parcels of land on Tuesday

Canada has formally approved the return of three tracts of land to Kahnawake.

In total, five parcels of land totalling 500 acres have now been returned to the Mohawk territory south of Montreal, and they will now have full reserve status.

The community’s grand chief, Joseph Tokwiro Norton, said regaining the land bodes well for Kahnawake’s economic future.

“There’s a tremendous amount of relief. People are very happy,” Norton told CBC News.
