Mirage is an elusive Hero of wind and sand, teleporting across the map to control the map and support his allies. As an emissary of the Djinn ambassador Nashala Dion, Mirage is a diplomatic bodyguard who is charged with protecting the Djinn while supporting their mission to develop a sovereign nation within the state of Wyoming.
He is agile and uses powerful wind-based abilities for disruption. By throwing out Fire Scarabs and transforming into a Dust Devil, Mirage can damage, lift up, steal life and elude his targets while applying Djinn's Mark to enemies to enhance his attacks. When the time is right, he can Travel across the map in an instant to assist his allies, hunt down weak foes and take care of objectives.

- Djinn's Mark is considered a damage-over-time ability. Thus, the damage won't knock a hero off a zipline, and it cannot be blocked by Counterspell.
- The damage scales with Mirage's Spirit Power at the moment the marks trigger, not when each stack was applied. Temporary Spirit Power changes (e.g. Infuser or Focus Lens) therefore affect all currently active stacks.
- Only the initial proc of Djinn's Mark is subject to the 40m range, subsequent procs have infinite application range.
- If the T3 upgrade is unlocked while marks are applied to an enemy, Mirage will be unable to increase that enemy's stacks of Djinn's Mark past 4. Attempting to add a 5th mark to the enemy will instead refresh the duration of the marks. This is likely due to a bug.
- Deals a net total of 1/2/4/8/(16) times the base damage, at 1/2/3/4/(5) stacks.
- The per target cooldown is affected by Cooldown Reduction.
Neither "Deflection" nor "On-Hit Prevention" on Plated Armor protect against Djinn's Mark.
Arcane Surge applies, but only on manual activation. Manual activation of Djinn's Mark while a target has maximum stacks is not possible, making this ability a poor target for Arcane Surge.

After teleporting, gain a Barrier.
- A targeting reticle appears under your cursor on the minimap for allies to see where you might go before clicking.
- A visual effect is generated at the target location, revealing where Mirage will appear unless Traveler is cancelled.
- Using Traveler makes Mirage drop the

- If an enemy was selected as the target, Mirage will appear facing the target.
- Cancelling Traveler before teleporting can fool enemies into wasting important abilities or fleeing from a fight, while preserving Traveler's cooldown.

Item Draft
[edit | edit source]In Street Brawl, every hero draws items from a shared pool, but some items are weighted to appear more often for a given hero and others less often. For each tier below, that tier's items are grouped by how likely they are to be offered to Mirage: High, Average, or Low chance.
Backstory
[edit | edit source]See Mirage/Lore for more story content.
“The Djinn are one of the more curious groups of people in the modern world. Possessing great power in controlled doses, Djinn are incapable of maintaining corporeal form for longer than 48 minutes without resting within a vessel. As a result, most Djinn employ human bodyguards for transport, protection, and companionship.
Mirage is one such bodyguard. Employed by Djinn ambassador Nashala Dion, Mirage is in New York on a diplomatic mission. It's the hope of the Djinn that they can negotiate with the US government for a sale of part of Wyoming so that they can build a sovereign nation for their people.

Trivia
[edit | edit source]- Mirage became known in the player community for his screaming voice lines at release (the frequency of which was later reduced according to patch notes),[2] as well as his unused "Akira laser" screams. This has been acknowledged by developer Kaori, who joked that Mirage's voice actor Fareed Ward could be easily identified by his screams,[1] and referenced in voice lines by Mina, Silver and Vyper.[3][4][5]
- Nashala has an unused human-sized model in the game files.
- Mirage's model was updated in the 2024-12-06 Update.
- Mirage carries Nashala in the bottle in his hand. In his previous model, it used to be attached to his chest.
- Mirage's first official model wasn't shipped in the game files until he was officially released. However, the model was leaked a couple weeks earlier by an updated portrait art.
- Mirage's pre-release model was based on Paradox's model with a modified McGinnis head.
- "Dreaming of Wyoming in the Hideout" is displayed as one's status in the in-game Friends List when playing as Mirage in the Hideout.
- Mirage's ulitmate cannot be used in the Hideout.
