Three Months in the New Role – #MeetDrChristianBrinkmann Since May, Dr. Christian Brinkmann has been leading the wastewater technology department at Diehl Metal Applications in Berlin. We asked him a few questions about his start and current projects 👇 💧 How was your start at Diehl Metal Applications? “My start was intense, insightful, and characterized by authentic collaboration. From day one, I was warmly welcomed by the team, with whom I now shape the future of our wastewater technology department. I was able to contribute to my first projects right away.” 💧 Was there a particular highlight in the first few weeks? “My one-week internship in strip electroplating was a clear highlight. It gave me valuable insights into key wastewater sources and a deeper understanding of the production’s process water quality requirements, as well as how different wastewater streams interact. This hands-on experience is now shaping our strategy for smarter, more sustainable solutions.” 💧 What projects are you currently working on? “One key project is preparing our site for stricter wastewater regulations. Fresh on board and already in the thick of things 🚀  Michele Cannarozzo recently joined our #DiehlTeam - and of course we immediately wanted to know who he is, what drives him and why he decided to join us. My focus is on the Italian market - here I'm the point of contact for our customers and support them with all aspects of our products and solutions. 🔸 Why did you choose Diehl Metall?  Diehl is a large, future-oriented family company with a clear structure - that convinced me immediately. I found the varied range of tasks particularly exciting, which perfectly matched my previous experience in the industry. My enthusiasm for non-ferrous metals was an additional motivation. Yesterday, our sports-enthusiastic colleagues from Diehl Metall teamed up with the Diehl Group and gave it their all at the B2run in Nuremberg! 💪🌟    With team spirit, good vibes, and lots of energy, we started together and crossed the finish line with big smiles. And of course, we had plenty of fun along the way! The 6.1-kilometer route took us from the Zeppelinfeld around Dutzendteich, with an perfect finish inside the Max-Morlock-Stadion.  A huge thank you to everyone who ran with us or cheered us on.     We're already looking forward to B2Run 2026, because as we all know:   after the run is before the run! 🏁

We spoke with Lando about his first experiences and role at Diehl Metall 👇  🔸 What do you do in your role at Diehl Metall?  I work as a Manufacturing Engineer Automation and develop processes together with our suppliers so that good becomes excellent. 🔸 How did you experience your first few weeks at Diehl Metall?  Thanks to structured onboarding and my first project, I was able to take on responsibility quickly. She had been working in Business Development with us since 2018 before moving abroad for a few years. We are very pleased that she has found her way back to us - with fresh experience under her belt and great motivation for new challenges. Find out how she experienced her first few weeks, why she decided to return to Diehl Metall and what we should know about her: 🔸How did you experience the first few weeks at Diehl Metall?  "My colleagues made it very easy for me to return to Diehl Metall. It was so nice to see that even after two and a half years of living and working abroad, I was welcomed back so warmly. It feels like the right place to continue my career.  In addition to some super friendly new colleagues, I was also very happy to meet so many familiar faces again." 🔸Why did you choose Diehl Metall again?  "I really appreciated the fact that you can quickly take on responsibility and actively shape things at Diehl Metall. The rather flat hierarchies and the open culture of discussion give you the opportunity to get involved and change things. In addition, I have always experienced a high level of appreciation - which contributes significantly to the fact that I enjoy my job so much. I was able to gain a lot of experience in Business Development during my first time here and am now looking forward to using my skills in new, exciting growth areas." 🔸What should we know about you?  "I love traveling - preferably simple and off the beaten tracks just with a camper or tent.
